Nuevamente una semana de reto de Splinterlands y hoy traigo el mío. Este fue un poco diferente del de la semana pasada, porque la estrategia contiene un toque de azar inherente a la carta del desafío.

Once again a Splinterlands challenge week and today I bring mine. This one was a little different from last week's, because the strategy contains a touch of randomness inherent in the challenge card.

Decidí hacer la batalla con el equipo de fuego para ganar algo de velocidad y ataque melé, lo que fue la decisión correcta. Mi equipo fue una combinación de azar increíble, algo de suerte hay que tener para ganar.

I decided to do the battle with the fire team to gain some speed and melee attack, which was the right decision. My team was a combination of incredible chance, you have to have some luck to win.

La estrategia consistió en aguantar lo más posible la línea delantera, para que las cartas de atrás tuvieran tiempo de causar daños a sus cartas más poderosas.

The strategy consisted in holding the front line as long as possible, so that the cards behind would have time to cause damage to their most powerful cards.

Colocando una carta que ataue al último y una carta que ataque al más indefenso, me aseguraba deshacerme rápidamente de sus cartas con mayor daño.

By placing a card that attacks the last card and a card that attacks the most defenseless, I was sure to quickly get rid of their cards with the most damage.

A ver, que todo esto parece un juego de ajedrez pero la verdad es que perdí unas cuantas partidas antes de poder empezar a ganar 🤣.

Well, this all looks like a chess game but the truth is that I lost a few games before I could start winning 🤣.

A fin de cuentas, la partida corrió exactamente como lo tenía planeado, mi plan era ganar y así fue 😅. Cabe destacar que un poco de miedo sí tuve al ver que una de mis cartas poderosas estuvo a nada de morir, pero bueno, no pasó a mayores.

In the end, the game went exactly as I had planned, my plan was to win and I did 😅. It's worth mentioning that I was a little scared when I saw that one of my powerful cards was about to die, but well, it didn't happen.

What do I think of Gem Mentor?

La verdad me pareció divertido el hecho de jugar con el azar, pero más allá de eso, creo que no compraría la carta, principalmente porque cuando juego quiero tener medido lo que voy a hacer, sin sorpresas, y esa habilidad que tiene me quita mi paz mental.

The truth is that I found it fun to play with randomness, but beyond that, I think I would not buy the card, mainly because when I play I want to have measured what I'm going to do, without surprises, and that ability it has takes away my peace of mind.

En cuanto a las stats, debo decir que me parecen decentes, tiene buena velocidad y en lo que aumenta su nivel, aumenta su poder también, me parece equilibrada teniendo en cuenta la velocidad y el daño.

As for the stats, I must say that I find them decent, it has good speed and as it increases its level, it increases its power as well, I find it balanced considering the speed and damage.

No es una mala carta, sólo no encaja con mi estilo de juego.
