Olá a todos, sejam bem vindo a mais um post sobre Splinterlands onde estarei falando sobre a carta Corsair Bosun que chegou recentemente através da edição de Riftwatchers e porque ela é uma excelente escolha para se ter em suas batalhas e na sua coleção.

Primeiro já vou logo falando que essa não é uma dica de investimento, é apenas a minha opinião sobre essa carta e porque eu considero ela útil para as batalhas. Irei falar sobre o preço atual dela mas irei deixar para o final do post.

Vamos começar conhecendo mais sobre o Corsair Bosun através de sua história, apesar de não ter impacto nas batalhas de Splinterlands, eu considero uma forma adicional de dar emoção nas batalhas já que você irá descobrir as origens das cartas que você utilizar no campo de batalha.

Enquanto muitos o chamam de vigilante, Harlan Lowcastle prefere “Herói do Povo”. Crescendo em uma grande cidade, Harlan viu muito sofrimento enquanto os poderes eram vistos com indiferença ou, pior ainda, usavam isso a seu favor. Apesar de sua criação em uma família rica da classe alta, ele deixou sua vida para trás. Seus pais o deserdaram, mas ele não se importou. Havia problemas maiores no mundo.

Depois disso, Harlan viveu nas ruas do centro da cidade, permanecendo em movimento e ajudando os necessitados, fornecendo alimentos, suprimentos médicos e acesso a outros meios de subsistência necessários para sobreviver. Agora que conhecemos mais sobre esse nobre herói, vamos descobrir suas verdadeiras utilidades no campo de batalha e o que faz ele ser uma excelente escolha para elas.

Como mencionado quando estava citando sobre a história do Corsain Bosun, ele pertence ao deck de vida e seu custo de mana é 10 o que é normal para as cartas da edição de Riftwatchers. A imagem acima te deu uma visão geral sobre a carta, então você já deve ter percebido que apesar de sua mana ser alta ele é incrivelmente poderoso mesmo sem suas habilidades. Seu ataque é extremamente alto e isso significa que ele será uma excelente fonte de dano para as suas batalhas, sua vida e escudo também são altos o que significa que ele também será uma excelente defesa (uma ótima combinação de ataque e defesa sempre será bem vinda para as batalhas em Splinterlands), por últimos temos sua agilidade que não chama muita atenção mas não é ruim (não dar para ser perfeito em tudo).

Agora vamos conhecer as habilidades do Corsain Bosun, mas mesmo sem elas eu já o considero uma carta incrivel para as batalhas. Suas habilidades são a Reach, Reflection Shield e Cleanse.

A habilidade Reach permite que o Corsain Bosun seja capaz de atacar da segunda posição, caso você não saiba cartas melee possuem a restrição de não serem capazes de atacar em qualquer posição a menos que possua uma habilidade ou regra de batalha que permita. Na minha opinião ter ele na segunda posição é ainda melhor que na primeira no inicio porque ele não será o principal alvo dos ataques e como ele causa bastante dano quanto mais tempo ele sobreviver mais benefícios você vai ter.

A habilidade Reflection Shield é um pouco recente em Splinterlands e a maioria que já joga o jogo há um tempo já sabe como ela é incrivelmente útil nas batalhas, principalmente contra o summoner Yodin. Essa habilidade irá fazer o Corsain Bosun não receber dano das habilidades Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns e Return Fire.

A habilidade Cleansen irá fazer o Corsain Bosun remover todos os efeitos negativos da carta posicionada na primeira posição, então além de ser uma excelente carta ofensiva e defensiva ele também será um ótimo suporte nas batalhas.

Agora que você já conseguiu entender como essa incrivel carta funciona nas batalhas, talvez você esteja correndo para comprar o seu (brincadeira), mas na minha opinião é uma excelente escolha, principalmente nas batalhas de alta mana porque você não precisará economizar na mana gasta e o Corsain Bosun é uma das cartas melee mais fortes em termos de ataque e defesa que são capazes de atacar da segunda posição e pode ter certeza que a habilidade Reflection Shield será um grande bônus para as suas batalhas.

Quanto custa para ter o Corsain Bosun na minha coleção?

Já que falamos sobre utilidades no campo de batalha, vamos falar também sobre valores já que para possuir as cartas você terá que gastar dinheiro.

Como mostrado na imagem acima o valor atual do Corsain Bosun é $0.97 e isso faz com que ele seja uma das cartas raras de maior valor atualmente da edição de Riftwatchers e apesar de eu achar um valor um pouco alto para uma carta de edição tão recente eu consigo entender perfeitamente seu preço já que a demanda por ele geralmente é maior que a oferta por causa da sua incrível utilidade nas batalhas.

Novamente irei dizer que está não é uma dica de investimento, apenas minha opinião sobre porque considero essa carta uma ótima escolha.

Hi everyone, welcome to another post about Splinterlands where I'll be talking about the Corsair Bosun card that recently arrived through the Riftwatchers edition and why it's an excellent choice to have in your battles and in your collection.

First I'm going to say that this is not an investment tip, it's just my opinion about this card and why I consider it useful for battles. I will talk about the current price of it but I will leave it for the end of the post.

Let's start by knowing more about Corsair Bosun through its history, although it has no impact on Splinterlands battles, I consider it an additional way to add emotion in battles as you will discover the origins of the cards you use on the battlefield.

While many call him a vigilante, Harlan Lowcastle prefers “Hero of the People.” Growing up in a large city, Harlan saw a great deal of suffering as the powers that be looked on with indifference or, even worse, used it to their advantage. Despite his upbringing in a wealthy family of the upper class, he left his life behind. His parents disowned him, but he didn’t care. There were bigger problems in the world.

After that, Harlan lived on the streets of the inner city, staying on the move and helping those in need, providing food, medical supplies, and access to other subsistence they required to survive. When he couldn’t get it legally, he had no qualms about using other means. To Harlan, the wealthy were nothing but gluttons and abusers who ignored the misery of others while hording their own riches and living a life of excess.

His initial jobs began small, sneaking into estates and taking what he needed. As he got more confident, his plans grew more daring and elaborate. He amassed a small following of rebellious men and women who, fed up with the apathy of the gentry, helped him carry out his heists. They often robbed the rich to give to the poor. Harlan’s favorite schemes, however, involved uncovering the corruption of the affluent and making it public, forcing them to be held accountable. As Harlan grew more successful and his influence spread, he attracted some powerful enemies. Undeterred, he continued to fight for a better life for others.

All his efforts, however, were undone when the Chaos Legion invaded the Splinterlands.

Harlan went to ground, doing what he could to save as many people as possible from the initial attack. The world changed forever, but all hope was not lost. Word of the Riftwatchers spread. Harlan sought them out. He now works with them, plotting insurgent attacks, undermining the Chaos Legion, and hoping to one day free the Splinterlands of their tyranny.

Like many life deck card stories, Corsain Bosun has done heroic deeds and has noble intentions, he's practically a Robin Hood from Splinterlands (again reading the card stories, I feel like watching a movie more late, but I need to finish this post first). Such a noble figure couldn't stand still to see all the destruction that chaos legion caused, now Corsain Bosun fights her with all his strength and have no doubt that he will be a great ally for your battles.

Now that we know more about this noble hero, let's discover his true uses on the battlefield and what makes him an excellent choice for them.

As mentioned when I was quoting about Corsain Bosun's history, he belongs in the life deck and his mana cost is 10 which is normal for Riftwatchers edition cards. The image above gave you an overview of the card, so you may have already noticed that despite his high mana, he is incredibly powerful even without his abilities. His attack is extremely high which means he will be an excellent source of damage for your battles, his health and shield are also high which means he will also be an excellent defense (a great combination of offense and defense will always be welcome for battles in Splinterlands), finally we have its agility that doesn't draw much attention but it's not bad (you can't be perfect in everything).

Now let's get to know Corsain Bosun's abilities, but even without them I already consider him an incredible card for battles. His abilities are Reach, Reflection Shield and Cleanse.

The Reach ability allows the Corsain Bosun to be able to attack from the second position, if you don't know melee cards they have the restriction of not being able to attack in any position unless you have an ability or battle rule that allows it. In my opinion having him in second position is even better than first in the beginning because he won't be the main target of attacks and as he does a lot of damage the longer he survives the more benefits you will get.

The Reflection Shield ability is a bit new to Splinterlands and most who have played the game for a while already know how incredibly useful it is in battles, especially against the summoner Yodin. This ability will make Corsain Bosun not take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns and Return Fire abilities.

The Cleansen ability will make Corsain Bosun remove all negative effects from the card positioned in the first position, so in addition to being an excellent offensive and defensive card it will also be a great support in battles.

Now that you've managed to understand how this amazing card works in battles, maybe you're rushing to buy yours (joke), but in my opinion it's an excellent choice, especially in high mana battles because you won't need to save on mana spent and Corsain Bosun is one of the strongest melee cards in terms of attack and defense that are able to attack from the second position and you can be sure that the Reflection Shield ability will be a big bonus for your battles.

How much does it cost to have the Corsain Bosun in my collection?

Since we've talked about utilities on the battlefield, let's also talk about values ​​since to own the cards you'll have to spend money.

As shown in the image above the current value of Corsain Bosun is $0.97 and this makes it one of the highest value rare cards currently in the Riftwatchers edition and although I find it a bit high value for such a recent edition card I I can perfectly understand its price as the demand for it is usually greater than the supply because of its incredible usefulness in battles.

Again I will say that this is not an investment tip, just my opinion on why I consider this card to be a great choice.
