Além da habilidade Rust a Time Mage possui outra excelente habilidade que é a Slow, ela faz com que a Time Mage reduza a velocidade das cartas adversárias em 1 e é muito útil nas batalhas porque velocidade é um das principais estátisticas para te dar a vitória. Mas por outro lado essa habilidade pode ser um debuff para suas cartas se existir a regra Reverse Speed na batalha, porque nessa regra a carta com menor velocidade ataca primeiro, então aumentar a velocidade das suas cartas seria algo negativo, mas ainda sim ter a habilidade Rust irá fazer uma enorme diferença para você, por isso mesmo que seja um debuff nesta regra ainda pode ser uma boa escolha.

Em termos de valores diferente do Truth of Defender a Time Mage possui um preço bem baixo por ser uma carta da edição de chaos legion, então possuir ela em sua coleção não é um grande obstáculo já que cada BCX atualmente está custando $0.24 e para por ela no level 5 são necessárias 40 cartas, então o valor total seria apenas de $9.60 que não é um valor muito alto para uma carta como ela. Além disso o valor baixo atual está relacionado ao fato dos packs de chaos legion ainda estarem sendo vendidos e também ao valor do DEC que está baixo, mas assim que os packs se esgotarem e Spliterlands continuar crescendo, cartas como a Time Mage serão muito valorizadas no futuro e isso irá impactar o seu valor.

A brief summary about Truth of Defender is that it has the ability Protect which grants +2 shield to all your allied cards and having shield means having defense against melee and ranged attacks that are blocked by it. But your opponent can also have the same idea as you and use a card that also grants shield and this is where the Time Mage comes into action, because it has the Rust ability that reduces the opponent's card shield at 2, so just think that on one side you will have the Defender of Truth increasing your defenses and on the other the Time Mage reducing your opponent's defenses and this is an incredible combination.

Time Mages are members of the Order of the Silver Shield and close associates of the Wizards' Council. They are trusted to peer through the fabric of time and reality to foretell the future or manipulate the present by slowing the flow of time. They can also speed up the aging process of armor, causing it to rust prematurely.

However, with such power also comes great risk. The future is ever-changing, and the ripples of time can affect everyone. Time Mages must undergo strict training to ensure they don't abuse their power and use it only for the most dire of circumstances.

Stats

But on the other hand this ability can be a debuff to your cards if there is a Reverse Speed rule in battle, because in this rule the lower speed card attacks first, so increasing the speed of your cards would be something negative, but still having the Rust ability will make a huge difference for you, so even if it's a debuff in this rule it can still be a good choice.

In terms of values ​​different from Truth of Defender, Time Mage has a very low price for being a chaos legion edition card, so having it in your collection is not a big obstacle as each BCX is currently costing $0.24 and to get her to level 5 it takes 40 cards, so the total value would only be $9.60 which is not a very high value for a card like her.
