'Sea Wreck' - Upcoming strong Riftwatchers Airdrop card

Airdrop plays a important role in the cryptocurrency world. There are many airdrops we have seen in the past and each has some rule or prerequisite for eligibility. Majorly the airdrop are the part of marketing, promotional and publicity purpose. Some time the airdrops are standard airdrop and some time they are limited to the some users only. Some time they are for the users how support the project in initial days.

A crypto airdrop is a marketing strategy where web3 startups directly deposit digital tokens into the wallets of active blockchain community members as a gift.

Airdrops & Splinterlands

In Splinterlands ecosystem the airdrop are not a new thing. We have seen completing their one of the biggest airdrop of SPS token to the Splinterlands Asset holders. Receiving card as airdrop is always a exciting and fun activity. I have Participated in Untamed kickstarter also and that time also received the legendary cards form airdrop . SCARRED LLAMA MAGE & BYZANTINE KITTY are worth to mentioned. I remembered that I sold the first ever the Gold Foil card - Black Dragon to participate in kickstarter.

I got some experience form the Untamed event and airdrops so during the Chose Legion Sale I decided to increase the investment and purchases the more packs and total 783 packs were eligible for all 14 airdrop cards. The Untamed and CL series are one of the biggest in number / quantity of cards.

At present the Riftwatchers-mini-edition is available for purchase form official site and for every 500K pack sale means unlocking the new airdrop card. Till now three airdrop has been already completed. I try to purchase the packs during the presale but unfortunately the sale was so quick that the I was not eligible for the first two Airdrop cards even I have made the purchased the packs within hour time of sale start. This shows that how much the players or users were interested in the game that the sales were took just seconds to finished.

Riftwatecher series was costlier as each pack cost 5k Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) token and Voucher (some previous packs cost $2 only). The price
in the DEC token was decided to facilitate the use care for DEC token in the game. The price of DEC token in secondary market is below the pegged value. So you can say the packs are available on discount. I have purchased the more then 500 packs and in total 575 packs are eligible for the all airdrop cards. You must have 250 packs purchased form the official site if you want to be assured card form next remaining three airdrops. With each airdrop completion the minimum pack purchase requirement for assured card also increases by 50 packs. So their are chances that if someone had received the airdrop in past and has not qualify the pack purchase requirement in present will get nothing.

The next airdrop cards will be unlocked when the 1500000 packs will be sold and we are very close to the milestone number, as 88% target has been achieved to hit the 1500000 packs sold.

New Airdrop Card - Sea Wreck

During the last Town Hall the team has revile the details of upcoming airdrop card named - Sea Wreck. The card will cost 11 mana to summon and belongs to the water team. The mana cost is high but if you check all other Riftwatchers-mini-edition legendary cards, they are also has high mana cost. The cards has excellent 13 health will support the card to stood against the opponents. The card has the least speed which is 1 which make him perfect choice for reverse speed rule set. There is no change in speed with the level upgrade (seriously?). The cards has 4 melee attack which is awesome for a legendary card along with 4 shield.

Legendary cards has maximum level 4 and with each level they gain an additional abilities which make them unique and powerful with each level of upgrade. The cards also has blood lust which made this card super powerful, as per my knowledge this is the first cards in Riftwatchers-mini-edition series which has the blood lust abilities. The blood lust is one of the killing ability which convert the cards into killing machine and unbeatable (if triggered).
There return fire ability made the opponents to regret as the card also attack back when hit by ranged attack monster. Card also ahs the self healing ability at level three which is awesome.

According to the team's recent update, the testing of the ability is currently in progress, and it is expected that all necessary preparations will be completed by the time it is ready for airdropping.

The card no doubt has some awesome abilities which means the card has the potential to stood in the race of powerful cards of the game. At present what I can guess the card will be suitable for reverse ruleset because of the low speed, but other suitable ruleset may need to explore. As per the experience and by seeing the card abilities it is predictable the card will be a good asset in the game and also will hold good market value. I am optimistic that I will grab minimum 2 cards and more then 2 will be lottery for me.
