What to do now?

Just got to thinking about the game. Just an opinion. I started with the game just last August. Back then, I got lucky enough to get about 14k DEC (collectively) in daily quests. Nowadays, I'd be lucky if I get double digits. Since the change of rules from highest achieve rank to last active rank was set, rental prices soar when the end of the season approaches. Add to that the cost of quest potions. I'm at a crossroads. I have a meager collection, not even 50 cards. As of this writing, I get about 40 DEC a day from renting them out. (edit: just checked, it's down to 34 DEC haha. I have 10 delegated to my 2 other accounts)

How do I earn more DEC? Is it still worth it to grind every season? I probably won't make enough DEC to rent the required power for my rating. I'm currently at 1.9k power, enough for Gold 3. And for sure, I'd need at least 4k DEC just to get the power I need to get the rewards. If that's the trend, it might be better to just rent out the cards I own, play with free cards, and stay in bronze forever lol. But if that's the case, then it's better to just use a bot. I don't think the changes are very newbie friendly. Lucky are those who started the game early.
