Puisi ini pernah dimuat di Kompasiana

 Untaian kata-kata ini untuk ibu.
Aku tulis dengan singkat tanpa babibu.
Tak perlu kata-kata yang berjumlah beribu-ribu.
Yang penting berasal dari dalam kalbu.

 Ibu tak perlu pujian berlebih.
Pujian yang penuh kata-kata berbuih.
Yang kadang kala penuh dalih.
Dia hanya perlu perhatian dan pelukan kasih.

Datang dan peluklah ibumu.
Peluklah dengan rasa tak jemu-jemu.
Karena dialah sekarang kamu jadi berilmu.
Ingat  ibumu bila perlu datanglah untuk bertemu
