Hello everyone! Time for another weekly battle challenge which stars the Radiated Brute. Lets check out his stats:

Starting right off level 1 he has 2 damage, 5 hp, 1 speed and the Reach ability. Reaching level 6 he gains Enrage.

So here are the rulesets I got:
rulesets.png
-Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round;
-Reverse speed: Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks;
-38 mana cap;
-Available splinters: Fire, Earth, Life, Dragon.

Just seeing those I automatically think of Brighton Bloon, who I am renting 1 bcx just for this ruleset. As he is a dragon splinter we have to pick another splinter to go along with him and from the choices I have I think the best option is the Fire splinter as it has the most low-speed monsters - Living Lava and Radiated Brute, which are both level 1 for me so 1 speed means they will attack first. Another must card for the Reverse Speed matchup is Sand Worm, and might aswell throw in a few more sneak-ers just to plow through the back-line.

Lets check out the team I managed to gather:

Card I picked:Why I picked it:
Perfect summoner for the Earthquake ruleset. He gives all our monsters the Flying ability which prevents us from taking damage at the end of each round.
One of the best melee tanks in my opinion. Specifically for this ruleset he is a must. Shield ability to protect him from melee and ranged damage.
The star - Radiated Brute. Another great option(on level 1 atleast with his 1 speed). It would be better if it wasn't an Earthquake ruleset so we can benefit from the Tarsa buff, but oh well.
Good option with 2 magic damage. He would help out alot if we go against another Shield tank.
Sand Worm - a MUST for any reverse speed matchup. 5 guaranteed damage each round shouldn't be missed when mana allows it.
Ofcourse when we have a Sneak monster, why not have 2. He has 2 damage and 2 speed. He will hit after Sand Worm and if he kills the target, *Tenyii Striker will help out with the next removing armor or just lowering hp.
Sooo sneak.. well Uraeus. Another great pick. He's not 1 speed, but we can't have it all. But we have 1 armor to protect from an enemy sneak so he fits well here, I think.

On to the battle, which you can check for yourself here.

Round 1

1.png
Starting the battle we face off another Brighton Bloom, but level 2. Not a real difference as he only has a Shieldbearer level 2. Starting the battle is our Sand Worm who takes away Shieldbearers armor, followed by hits from Living Lava and Radiated Brute. Shieldbearer get some armor restored by armorsmith, but its quickly taken away again by a strike from our Tenyii Striker. Sadly Halfling Alchemist lands a strike on our Livin Lava dealing 0 damage, but cuts his Lava's down to 1. Finishing the round are hits from our Djinn Apprentice on the Shieldbearer and a hit on our Living Lava from the Prismologist, who splashes 2 damage on to our Radiated Brute.

Round 2

2.png
Starting round 2 again is our Sand Worm who quickly takes care of the 2 remaining hp on the Shieldbearer. Now that the enemy doesn't have Taunt anymore the real strategy can kick in. Tenyii Striker and Uraeus quickly dispatch of the Halfling Alchemist. Another assault on our Living Lava from the enemy Prismologist and Peacebringer, leaving him with only 2 hp. Djinn Apprentice tickles Cornealus.

Round 3

3.png
Kicking off round 3 Sand Worm quickly one-shots Peacebringer, followed by hits on Prismologist from Uraeus and Tenyii Striker. Lucky for us Prismologist misses our Living Lava leaving her without a double kill and secures us the victory. Ending the round is Cornealus who heals himself for 4 hp.

Round 4

4.png
As the battle draws closer to the end Sand Worm scores another kill on the armorless Prismologist, leaving the team without any offense making it a clear win for us, we just have to overtake Cornealus' self-heal. Tenyii Striker takes out Armorsmith and its a full-on assault on Cornealus, who ends the round with another 4 hp heal.

Round 5

5.png
Starting the final round all the enemy has left is 8 hp on Cornealus, who quickly dies to the 5 damage from Sand Worm, 2 from Radiated Brute and 1 from Living Lava. GG.

Here are the stats from the game:
