Crypto Crash and Staring At Charts

Today the crypto market dipped hard. I'm assuming the stock market is doing worse. Axie Infinity had a new axie-burning event that drove up the price of floor axies. That was the exit for me. I was able to sell the axies I bought exactly one month ago for... the same price I had bought it when including the market sales fee. ETH's value is lower now than before though so I definitely made a loss there. It was a good thing that I gritted my teeth and sold when I did. Because a few hours later the price of floor axies tanked. I'm glad I wasn't being greedy and hoping for the price to shoot up more before I sold.

I've been busy with various stuff. I still haven't finished Splinterlands' daily quest yet. All my rent cards expired as well. So If I'm going to win I'm gonna need to rent.
I've been focusing on the charts seeing if the dip will go up or not. I haven't been focusing too much on the gameplay part of Splinterland. What I have been doing is to look at the investment part of the game and plan if I should start moving funds into the hive ecosystem.
Thankfully I didn't max out on RC. By the time I got to writing this post, I was sitting at around 97%.
I was going to write a blog post earlier about Splinterland yesterday and how I got shafted in the chaos legion pack airdrop but I ended up scrapping it because I don't think my idea aligned with the majority. I guess there's self-censorship involved there. I didn't want to write an opinion piece that's not shared by everyone else. I don't think it's necessary to self-censor. But I guess there's a first for everything. I'll probably write whatever the next time. The point was I got shafted with the airdrop. I didn't get anything, but I wasn't surprised since I only bought 1 pack. I just began to question if investing in Splinterland will involve even more investment and in the end, the investments would be more than the earnings.
That's almost 300 words written. I'll try to write every day from now. Missing just one day of writing really felt like a loss of progress now that I'm writing something again.
I'll probably focus my investment on one single crypto project going forward. I've had experience with playing both Axie and Splinterlands and realize it's better to just stick with one. I've also been moving stuff all over the place and the transfer fees does eat up into any little profit I had made.
Just fifty words more and I'll have hit 500 words. Although the crypto scene looks bearish right now I have high hopes for Hive. There really isn't any other blockchain that's such a big social media with the potential to my knowledge.
It feels great to finally write something again. I feel like I'm improving somehow by writing.
