Just Another Random Game of Splinterlands (Water vs Earth)

I've been meaning to make some Splinterlands gaming videos for a while, to put the word out about the game and see if I can attract some fresh blood.

What I'd really like to see is some new players join our Index Squad Guild, which is still going in spite of the founding members having bailed out. Our small group of regular players regularly achieve some quite exceptional results, but it would be nice to see some new players join us and some "sleepers" wake up and get active again!

Okay, the game in today's video is a random game from my struggle to stay in the Diamond league. I, Hirohurl, am playing the Water element (with the gold level 3 Kelya Frendul as my summoner, emphasising speed and additional shield protection) against Slugfestivaltho who is playing the Earth element (with the level 1 Obsidian as his summoner, adding +1 to his magic attack).

I commentated on the game, but when editing the video I decided to cut out the rather naff sound track and replace it with some atmospheric theme music that ends with a bang rather than a whimper...

I never managed to get into the Diamond leagues until the recent changes. Since then, I've been able to make much more progress through the leagues and consequently earn more SPS per battle (as well as a nice bunch of Glint).

Onwards and upwards!
