[EN/PT-BR] Guilda HiveBR - The battle between 2 of our best members!

Created in October 2021, the HIVE BR Guild ranks #124 with 44,765 Guild Rating. Our guild is complete with its 21 active members and everyone has a great relationship and many experiences to share.

We are currently the highest PT-BR Guild in the ranking, where we compete BRAWL TIER 3. Our players interact daily through exclusive WhatsApp and Discord channels, exchanging experiences aimed at continuous growth in the game, in addition to strengthening the bonds of friendship and companionship that a community can represent.

Some of our members are in the diamond league and have a very high overall ranking score, as shown in the image below, our 5 best ranked members, ordered by the RATING column, representing the Brazilian strength in these leagues.

We had a change in the fifth position of our Ranking, which shows that the dispute is fierce and our players are not kidding!

Despite being crowded, we have a secondary Guild that can house new beginner members. Anyway, be sure to make your contact indicating your interest in joining us, as we can make internal adjustments and move players from the Main Guild to the Secondary in order to be fair to all members.

DUEL HIVE BR

Today we are going to present a battle that is part of a series of events that we are going to call DUELOS HIVE BR.

First we will introduce our best ranked player, @wehaveall, a member of ours with Rating in Modern mode 3949 and Rating Wild 3380. The player joined us in April 2023, and has already joined the top players, occupying the leadership quickly.

The challenger was our player @vitaoo who ranks third in the Guild Hive BR ranking, having entered in December 2021 and sometimes been in front of the guild. But times have changed and now it is necessary to fight to occupy its space again.

Both players are extremely skilled and know #Splinterlands deeply, having started in the game many years ago. We know that @vitaoo started the game in September 2021 while @wehaveall started a little earlier, in July 2021.

RULESET

Players were called into battle with the following rules:

Target Practice: Magic and distance monsters will have snipe ability activated!
Armored Up: Extra shields will be applied!
Lost Magic: No magic monsters will be allowed!

57 points mana is considered abundant and should not restrict any of the players. We will have heavy cards on the field! The absence of magic reinforces the need for shields and an eventual repair would be very welcome!

Which summoners will be used? Each one has their own personal preference, but when it comes to battle, what counts is the strategy focused on victory. Let's go to battle!

BATTLE

The battle starts and the teams are now known. Let's see the formations before the modifications made by summoners and monsters:

ROUND 1

Death and fire were the chosen elements, and now we know that each player chose completely different strategies!

Despite this, the presence of Arkemis the Bear is unanimous in the front line of both teams, bringing extra shields and also reducing each other's attack power. We have repairmen, speed modifiers and ranged attack power. A mix of modifications that we don't know where it will take us!

ROUND 3

In the third round things start to take shape and we already have the first eliminations. Having added evasion to the cards was a good idea, because in the absence of magic, all units would have to have melee or ranged attacks and this ability would be widely used.

ROUND 6

The balance remains and it is not possible to estimate a winner. The ranged attackers start to approach the first positions, which can cause an imbalance in the game, considering that most of them do not have Close Range ability. This may be the first strategic point that will direct the battle towards a winner.

ROUND 9

Vitaoo in critical situation, low health for the Fire team. Clearly at a disadvantage, as the last opposing man is unable to attack if he occupies first position.

A series of evasions that occurred in the previous round also put Vitaoo in a bad light.

ROUND 13

It's the moment of truth, and combat comes down to the last cards on the field.
Two accurate strikes from the Ever Hungry Skull guarantee you victory. Three attacks are required for Lava Launcher. However, the counterattack abilities are only present in the Ever Hungry Skull. Every incoming melee or ranged attack will be counterattacked.

Ever Hungry is stunned and will not attack. The game is balanced until the last moment!

ROUND 13

It is in the 13th Round that the last attack is launched, we have the elimination of the Ever Hungry Skull, which, when succumbing, ends up damaging the opponent by the ability Return Fire, wasting its only point of life.

RESULT

CONCLUSION

In a battle of giants, we were honored by the duel between two of the greatest players in the Hive BR Guild! The battle couldn't have been more exciting, and the outcome fair! A draw just goes to show the high level of gameplay and Splinterlands expertise that our players have achieved after so much time dedicated to this excellent strategy game!

Hoje vamos apresentar um batalha que faz parte de uma série de eventos que vamos chamar de DUELOS HIVE BR.

Ambos os jogadores são extremamente qualificados e conhecem #Splinterlands profundamente, tendo iniciado no jogo a muitos anos. Sabemos que @vitaoo iniciou o jogo em setembro de 2021 enquanto @wehaveall iniciou um pouco antes, em julho de 2021.
