Giant Roc: Common Fire Monster With Versatility

Hello everyone, how are you feeling today?
After completing my quest yesterday, I knew that there would be a battle challenge for this week. I searched the splinterlands blog to look for the next battle challenge. I saw Giant Roc and was very happy with it.
Giant Roc is one of the most beautiful monsters for me in splinterlands. The funniest thing is that, when I started the splinterlands game; Giant Roc was one of the primary monsters I got when I bought the Spellbook.
Since Fire was my major summoner; Goblin Mech and Giant Roc were my favorite monsters. I used this monster for some time before I got a fineas rage. It is my best monster to use as a second monster whenever I am using a fire summoner.
Giant Roc is an amazing monster with flying ability. Its flying ability makes me want to use it whenever earthquake rules are given because of the resistance against earthquake rule.
The reach ability makes this monster useful in the second position. Asides from second position Giant Roc is useless in other positions except rules that allow melee monsters to attack in any position.
The trample ability of this monster is activated in level 6. This requires 52 cards to level up. When a trample hits and kills, it attacks the next monster and this can be seen in the level 6.

BATTLE LINEUP

Living Laval: the shield ability is the most useful ability in this battle. I realized that in this kind of battle that legendary monsters are not used, the best thing is to find the monster with shield ability to defend in order not to be defeated. Even if it is possible, I can also use monsters with shield ability as the last monster because this is a type of battle where sneaky monsters are frequently used.

Giant Roc: the monster for the weekly challenge did incredible work by attacking opponent living Laval. The reach ability allowed giant roc to attack in the second position which is the most versatile position for common fire monster. The speed also is a vital force that makes giant roc attacks faster.

Tenyii Striker: Since I got this monster during the presale chao, I have not used it. The first time i saw tenyii striker in the battle, i went back to my card collection to check maybe i have the monster; fortunately, i found the monster in my card collections. The melee and the health is a major factor for selecting this monster in the third position. I knew tenyii striker would not be easily pulled out from the battle because of its health.

Serpentine Spy: this opportunity monster is used because of its opportunity ability and the speed. Serpentine Spy attacked and killed the serpentine spy of opponent.
I assumed that if the serpentine spy was not in the lineup, it would have been a tough battle for me because the opponent's serpentine would have attacked my creepy Ooze which reduced the speed of opponent monsters and allowed my monsters to attack faster.

Kobold Miner: using two sneaky ability monsters is the fastest way to eliminate enemy from behind and also such amazing monster with 2 mana was really good.
Using two sneaky monsters to attack from behind drastically reduced the health of the opponent's kenyii striker. By the second round of the battle, tenyii striker of the opponent was finally eliminated from the battle by serpentine spy.

Creepy ooze: the neutra monster perfectly did its assignment before being eliminated. The assignment was to reduce all opponent monsters so that my monsters could attack faster. That was the reason most of my monsters attacked faster.
Only the creepy ooze was eliminated in my line up.

In conclusion, Giant Roc is a very good monster especially when the trample ability is activated. This monster can lead the battle when small mana is given and the flying ability gives it high chances to evade melee attack.
The more its level increases the more its speed increases: this gives giant roc an opportunity to attack faster.
