Season Arena Architect: The Best Position For Captain Fellblade

Hello splinterlands players across the world, how are you doing today?
The team for this week's splinterlands community engagement is ‘build the perfect team’. I believe that building perfect team is very easy, but there are things to be done to make it perfect, and they are:
Summoners: There are summoners that if a player does not have them, it will be difficult to win a particular battle. There was a time it was difficult for me to win against Alric Stormbringer until I got the summoner in the market. This was because there was no perfect summoner that I could use against it whenever my opponents used their own Alric Stormbringer.
Not just have those summoners but upgrade them!

Monsters: as summoners are very important so also monsters are very important in the battles. There're battles that will be very difficult to use if there are no particular monsters.

Good strategy: it is good to be very strategic while selecting monsters. I have used level 1 monsters and summoners to win against players with higher levels.
Hence, having a good strategy may help such a player to win battles.

Rules of the battle

Thick Skinned*
All units have shields (50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power).
The moment I saw this rule, I knew that my opponent would be using more magic attack than any other attack. We both knew that range and melee attacks would have less damage in this battle because of shields given to all monsters in this battle.

Halfling Alchemy

43 mana was given to me, therefore, there was still enough mana to pick any monster instead of Halfling Alchemist. What gave me the vibe to use Halfling Alchemist was the health; with just 1 mana I was able to get this monster which was very useful to me in this battle. Though, Halfling Alchemist did not attack in the battle, but it was able to delay the opponent's monsters for a while. At least, 2 monsters (Saltwater Mage and Daigendark surveyor) were eliminated in my opponent's lineup.

Abyssal Elemental
Splinter: Life 🧬🧬🧬🧬
Level: 1 ⭐
Speed: 1 🚤
Ability: Resurgence
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: MagicMana: 6
One thing that gave me joy in this monster is the resurgence ability. At round 2 when it was eliminated, it came back from the land of death. Abyssal Elemental
Resurrected with 100% health and armor. This is the one of the thing I like about Abyssal Elemental.
Before the battle, I knew that its ability would have a significant impact on this battle. It was able to attack the opponent's monsters also.

Abyssal Elemental could not be destroyed when it was resurrected in this battle. You can see that without Abyssal Elemental it wouldn't have been easy for me to win the battle.

Mystic Scalewater

Attack: Magic

It was necessary to use Mystic Scalewater due to its slow ability. Without the slow ability, opponent monsters would have had more chances to attack my monsters faster. Since both of us used a monster with slow ability, all the speed of our monsters was almost the same. If he had used a monster with swiftness, the majority of his monsters would have attacked before mine; and if I had a monster with swiftness I would have used it.
Mystic Scalewater was the monster with the highest magic attack, while my opponent had 2 monsters with 4 magic attacks.
The 4 powers really helped me in this battle!

Captain Fellblade

My choice to use Captain Fellblade work perfectly! I knew Captain Fellblade would be a threat to my opponent, and that was the reason I placed the monster in the middle.

Saltwater Mage

Ability: Sneak
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️
Attack: Magic
Mana: 8
Saltwater Mage was incredible in this battle, attacking from behind. The combination of Captain Fellblade and Saltwater Mage play a vital role in destroying opponent’s monsters.
At round 1 the combination of both sneak monsters eliminated opponent’s **Saltwater Mage. The same thing happen in the round of 2- the eliminated opponent’s Captain Fellblade.

Asel Alagosdil
Splinter: Life 🧬🧬🧬
Level: 2 ⭐⭐
Speed: 1 🚤
Ability: Divine Shield
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Non-attack
Mana: 4
From the beginning of the game, the moment I saw the rule of the battle, I knew that my opponent would use water element, and sneak monsters (Captain Fellblade and Saltwater Mage); I decided to use Asel Alagosdil to make those two monsters vulnerable. I knew the only monster that could do the job perfectly was Asel Alagosdil; then, I picked it.

From the look of the thing, both two opponent’s sneak monsters (Captain Fellblade and Saltwater Mage) could not destroy Asel Alagosdil in this battle. If there was no Asel Alagosdil in my lineup, I would not have won the battle.

In conclusion, Halfling Refugee gave me the opportunity to use 6 monsters in this battle. You can see that my opponent could not use 6 monsters!
Asel Alagosdil protected my backline very well, both opponent’s monsters could not eliminate it in the round of 1 which gave me a chance to destroy my opponent's sneak monsters.
Resurgence of Abyssal Elemental made it tough for the rest of the opponent monsters.

In addition, my team is a perfect team in terms of strategy, position of monsters and abilities of each monster.
