WHY MOST PLAYERS USE MAGIC ATTACK MONSTES WHEN BRIAR PATCH IS GIVEN?: I USE TWO STRATEGIES AND TWO ATTACKS TO FIGHT A BATTLE

Hello splinterlanders, how are you doing today? Happy Easter to every one of you and more of it in your lives. It is a good day for every one of us here.

✅✅I USE TWO STRATEGIES AND TWO ATTACKS TO FIGHT A BATTLE✅✅
Whenever the briar patch is given to me, I used two methods to defeat my opponents, they are:
-used monsters with magic attacks: It is very clear that melee attacks take damage when it attacks the target. Therefore, one of my methods of defeating my opponents.
I used summoner that gives me +1 additional magic attack which increases all the friendly magic attack monsters.
There was a day I used Fire summoner to battle when Briat Patch was given in the battle; without wasting of time all my monsters were eliminated because each time my monsters attacked opponent monsters, they experienced damaged by thorns ability. That was how I lost the battle.
Note there are melee monsters that could be used while Briar Patch is given in battle such as a Tide Bitter. This is because of a special ability called ‘reflection shield- it doesn’t take damage from magic reflection, thorns, blast or return fire. This type of melee monster can be used when Briar Patch is given.

Summoners and Monsters with range ability is very good: There were times summoners and monsters with magic attacks were not given in the battle. My alternative was to use monsters and summoners with range abilities such as General Sloan.
The introduction of General Sloan is very good as it added +1 range attack monster to all friendly monsters. I have used general Sloan against such ruleset and it worked for me, especially when a high number of mana was given which allowed me to use a range monster with double strike ability and other monsters with good range attack ability.

NOTE: using range attack as the first monster depends on the other rulesets in the battle. If close range ruleset is given in such battle, it is good to use range monster in the first position because the rule allowed range monsters to be used in the first position. Using range monster in the first position when the rule ‘close range’ is not given; the range attack monster will not be able to attack in the first position. Hence, it is aways good to read the rules and follow them.

There are range attack monsters and a summoner that can be used when such rule is given. I encountered a player few days ago that used summoners with close range ability in a battle.
Well! It was another battle rule where no melee and magic attack monsters were allowed in the battle.
Only range attack monsters were present to be selected in the battle: in this battle, all his range attack monsters were able to attack as the summoner had a close-range ability.
When you have a summoner with close range ability, it is also very cool to use when Briar Patch is given in battles.

There are three types of monsters' attack in splinterlands- melee, magic and range. Though, all these monsters have various abilities and most of them are incredible to use in battles.
Most of the players use it because of magic ability; irrespective of the positions of magic attack monsters, they attack from any position.
Not all melee attack monsters attacks in battle; for instance, if one use melee attack monster while shield ability in the second position in ‘Stampede and what doesn’t kill you rules’; such a monster with not attack, it can only attack in the first position in stampede and what doesn’t kill you rule.
When a player uses a magic monster with shield ability in second position or any other position, such a monster will attack in that particular battle no matter the rulesets.

This big difference is what makes people use magic to attack monsters while “Brair Patch rule’ is given in battles.
In addition, the ability to attack the health of monsters directly was another factor, I used magic attack monsters due to this factor I mentioned above.

✅✅RULESETS✅✅

UNPROTECTED: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get any armor from abilities or summoner buffs.

BRIAR PATCH: All monsters have the thorns' ability. Whenever I see this type of

✅✅ARRANGENMENT OF THE BATTLE✅✅

THE KRAKEN:⭐ I knew that the Kraken would be affected by the thorns ability but needed it in the first position because of its lifespan. The kraken is one of the monsters in splinterlands with high number of health.
The 14 health of Kraken was able to sustain the first position to the second round before it was finally eliminated in the battle.
I believe there was no monster during selection of monsters that could withstand such attack. Such a monster would have been eliminated in the first round of this battle. Th Kraken was able to reach the second round due to the high number of health.

DJINN OSHSNNUS:⭐⭐ I was 100% sure that my opponent would use magic attack monsters in this battle; and Oshannus void ability would be beneficial.
My opponent selected 5 magic attacks in this battle; and Djinn Oshanus void ability reduced the magic attack of all opponents' magic attack; also, some of my opponent's magic monsters were not having effect because they had 1 magic attack.
You could see that venari spellsmith attack could not have effect because it was 1 magic attack.

NERISSA TRIDAWN: ⭐⭐Using melee attack would not be beneficial in this battle. Nerissa Tridawn was part of my plan because of the magic ability; my opponent was very wise; he used a monster with silence ability that reduced the magic attack of my monsters.
With the additional silence ability, Nerissa magic attack was 3 which was strong enough to destroy my opponent’s monsters.

MERDAALI GUARDIAN: ⭐⭐The monster was selected to add value to monster in the first position; value like increasing the health of a monster in the first position. That was the reason the Kraken was able to reach the second round.
If not, Goblin Psychic that afflicted Kraken, it would have difficult for opponent monsters to destroyed the Kraken in the battle.
When Djinn Oshannus led the battle, Merdaali Guardidn continued to increase it health; and thet was the reason it was not eliminated in the battle.

DOCTOR BLIGHT: ⭐⭐The aim was to afflict opponent monsters. Doctor Blight afflicted and poisoned opponent monsters in this battle.

WATER ELEMENTAL: ⭐⭐⭐⭐it is good in that position. I was thinking that my opponent might use Coral Wraith- a magic monster with sneak ability. If my opponent uses it, the healing ability of water elemental might be of help which would have difficult to eliminate.

I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself to be successful.
