What is Hive DRIP coin?

DRIP is a crypto-coin on the HIVE blockchain that invests into GameFI projects, which are projects that combine gaming with blockchain technology. We believe this will be one of the top growth areas in all of crypto over the next 5-10 years.

Recap

In the last three months we have gone from 56k in our treasury in November to now over $89k. I'm happy to report a record breaking month! We've now reached over $89k in AUM (Assets under Management) in our treasury. HIVE as well as many other coins have had a nice run in February and we are setting ourselves up well for the next bull run which may have already started!

In addition we increased our daily swap.hive payouts again and we plan for another increase in April. This is 8 straight increases in 8 months.

Total wallets staking DRIP have now crossed over 430.

Investment Update

We started a slightly new format last month that we continue again where more details are provided on some of our top investments.

Splinterlands (HIVE/Hive-Engine) - https://splinterlands.com/

Our exposure to Splinterlands has been reduced to 38% from 40% last month. We have large LP positions, node licenses and lots of staked SPS. Even though SPS has gone up and we currently hold more than last month, our other investments are up even more! We sold and bought back some SPS node LICENSE tokens for a gain and are sitting at 21 currently. We're now selling liquid SPS & vouchers from staking and LP rewards but are staking additional SPS earned from the LICENSE rewards. We will slowly increase our SPS position to 500,000. Our staked SPS position has increased to over 450,000 from around 430,000 last month. So we are close to our goal. Over the next 6-12 months we'd like to reduce our weight here to no more than 25% of our treasury assets for diversification.

Some near-term catalysts include ranked rewards rework and airing of the Killer Whales show on Apple TV.

No changes here but our investment in the coin MEGA from the game Mega World on the BNB chain has increased in value a little more. They are launching a whole marketing campaign soon along with a public launch of the game. We're holding 110,000 MEGA on our books at around a basis of $.065 with current market prices between $.08-$.12. The game has been in development since 2018. We're still very bullish here.

Our current weight here is 22%. The coin is up 86% in a month! Our investment is up over 100%.
We continue holding around 20,000 FLUX that's earning rewards from running their top-tier Stratus node. This is a project we really believe in. They are pioneering the PoUW concept and have lots of affordable decentralized cloud-computing options for businesses and now AI. In fact our website is even hosted with FLUX.

Boomland - Hunters on Chain (Polygon/ImmutableX/zkEVM) - https://boomland.io/

We have a 6.8% weight here.
There was big news released in January about Boomland moving to a new chain. They have chosen zkEVM which is a collaboration with Polygon and ImmutableX. It will essentially be faster and have no gas fees. I think this could be a nice catalyst for the game. We have continued building up assets here buying select hunter NFT's at discounts (Our cost basis is 4406 matic now valued at 5490 matic) and are able to rent these assets for 10-30 day rental periods earning anywhere from 40-150% ROI. The game runs smoothly, just a little slow during claims due to the Sequence wallet needed to connect but that will be changing soon with the change of chains. The mobile experience is also great and we have very high hopes for the project. We continue to be bulish and are willing to commit up to a 10% investment here over the short-term.

We hold 100 PRIME which is currently up nearly 100% from our purchase about a month ago. Parallel is a TCG in a vast sci-fi universe with five factions battling for home. It is on the Base chain by Coinbase.

Other Investments

We're still holding over 23,000 in Swap.Hive/HIVE. Some liquid and some in HP. In addition we hold quite a few other coins on hive-engine from different projects including PIMP, BRO, LGN, SIM as well as other coins like WAX from the WAX blockchain.

We have smaller investements into games on other chains including a roguelike RPG coming this year that will launch on ETH.

We have our eyes on many other projects and chains.

A Pirate Saga

I'd like to mention again a new game still in pre-alpha from the founder of DRIP and fully playable on our discord. The main dev has worked on other Hive games like DCrops and DCity. It's a pirate-themed NFT game.The game is live and In fact, we're now on 4 discord servers and growing. We've barely gotten started. We're currently working on our marketplace where you'll be able to purchase packs, buy/sell NFT's. Our ingame marketplace is now live for trading materials for LOOT. Looking Ahead

We plan to continue diversifying across chains while mainly concentrating our focus on web3 gaming per our whitepaper. We will continue to seek out more Gamefi investments that have a high likelihood of success.

It's a great time to stack some DRIP! Buy, stake and collect higher payments every single day. We will continue payout out a portion of our earnings while using the rest to grow and compound this over time.

Our 149% APY in first year staking rewards ends at the end of June. We won't end staking reward but they will be reduced so we can bring online our LP with it's own rewards. This means that soon it will be harder to get DRIP. We are still way ahead of our initial projections. 2024 is our first full year and I have a feeling it has already started out amazing!

Daily Payout

We pay out Swap.Hive every single day at 12:30 AM UTC and plan to increase the payout per DRIP coin held each month! We also reward .25% of staked DRIP daily at this time as well.

Staking Rewards

You'll receive exactly .25% of your staked DRIP tokens rewarded daily in liquid DRIP coins. This is a 149% APY. Coins paid out are liquid so you'll need to stake them daily in order to keep compounding your rewards.

Ex. - If you started with 1000 DRIP staked, you'll receive 2.5 coins the first day of staking rewards. If you then restake those coins, you'd earn 2.50625 additional DRIP the next day. If you did this each day for a year without ever purchasing more coins you'd have 2487.71 DRIP coins. Since the Swap.Hive payout is per coin and we plan to increase the payout slightly each month you'd be receiving more than 2.5 times your current Hive payout. The power of compounding is huge so don't forget to restake!

1+ DRIP staked - earn .25% daily in more DRIP tokens. This is a 149% APY the fist year.

1000+ DRIP staked - New role called DRIP Challenger and access to a no-cooldown room for S&S game. Auto staking script available.
