The Long Play on Splinterlands

I started at the beginning of this latest set with Chaos Legion with about a $10,000 investment (not counting all of the SPS airdrops and DEC rental income which I've been selling and moving to another game) but over the duration of this set I expected that the value of my account would decline pretty dramatically with the hope that after the set runs it's course and the pack sales stop and cards keep getting combined and/or burned if that ever happens again that the cards will appreciate in value.

We're a little more than half way through this set now so the clock has officially started on on the countdown to the end of the set.

I'm holding on to about 2,500 cards right now with a combined BCX total of about 35,000 BCX so I'm really banking on these Chaos Legion cards performing well a year or two after the end of the set.

I've seen it before and I'm confident that we'll see it again as new cards come out but people still want to get their hands on the cards from sets that have past.

Pretty soon I'm going to stop pulling money from the game and convert my focus back toward pumping money back into the game because the prices are going to get ripe for the picking now!

!1UP The closer to the end of the packs, the better it will be for those who already have their card stocks.
