Splinterlands Conflicts was a good move by the dev team.

First off, conflicts was a great idea. Great job, Nate for implementing this. It helps to lock up Rebellion cards into gamified staking while also stirring up demand for something that was previously just given away for free. Additionally, what I think people are neglecting, is the fact that staked Conflicts cards will also free up the rental market for Rebellion cards which should provide a premium valuation now for those renting out. All of this in theory should stir up the demand for Rebellion cards sales, in theory.

My personal plan is to accumulate as many max level individual cards as I can. Pack contribution point value was nerfed at the last minute such that 1 max level gold foil legendary is equivalent to 525 packs. Insane, given the price differential. 525 packs is north of $2k whereas a GFL could cost less than $450.

One thing to be aware of though will be the completion of Conflicts which will unwind much of the temporary value boost that came about to the Rebellion set. In a way it does draw forward much of the valuation, and we'll have to see what the unwinding will ultimately do in terms of value. Overall, I'm very bullish on the Conflicts airdrops.
