Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: Holy Protection Conqueror!

Good day Splinterlands, this is the 2nd in a row of my Weekly Battle Challenge. It is sometimes sad to have writer's block how about those actual writers they are truly remarkable for their work. How could they manage their block? hmmm.

Anyway, I will proceed to my battle challenge and I would like to say this one is good.

Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: Holy Protection Conqueror!

Immortalis versus Alric Stormbringer

Battle ruleset:

Holy Protection - All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.
Briar Patch - All monsters has thorn ability.
Mana- 38
Only Water, Earth and Death Elements can be used.

My Lineup

SUMMONER

I would like to use Immortalis because I think the enemy might use Magic ability. Thus his void will reduce the damage of the magic monsters especially if paired with Silence ability. His -1 life will increase my chances of winning and his shatter ability will remove the defenses of the enemy.

MONSTERS

Card	Ability	Strategy
Flesh Golem	Heal - Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round	This may be a bad idea since the battle rules have briar patch but his healing ability may bring a great advantage in the battle.
Barking Spider	At level 6 - Blind ability is available.	During this battle, I only used my rented card at level 4 with 2 ranged attack, and an increase in life with 1.
Goblin Psychic	When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round	In most of my battles, healing is one of the most important part of strategy. In the 3rd position, he could extend my Flesh Golem and Barking Spider thus giving more chances to Goblin Tower for his attack.
Mushroom Seer	Silence- Reduces the Magic Attack of all enemy Monsters	Since its briar patch, I expected it to be a magic battle therefore silence is the best defense I can have.
Goblin Tower	Blast - Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster	According to what I have read, blast ability or double strike is the best counter for holy protection, this is the closest card with the available mana that I have.

ROUND 1

I was astonished with Immortalis because of his shatter ability the holy protection is still up but with one the enemy's defenses went down therefore I have room for my range attacks to penetrate. Somehow I can say that the first tank of the enemy was poorly managed because the resurrect ability of River Hellondale does not make much of the card because it is Torrent Fiend, if she put Djinn Oshannus as the first tank, it would have been a great difference.

ROUND 2

Now that Djinn Oshannus is in the first tank of the enemy, most of my attacks are missed. Even though Flesh Golem hits him, the thorn damaged him as well giving the upper hand to the enemy to easily finish my first tank. Luckily, his heal and my Goblin Psychic's tank heal are in-sync.

ROUND 3

I still have my first tank, Flesh Golem as well as the enemy's tank but in the early attacks in this round, Djinn Oshannus is defeated and followed by my tank, despite the void effect of Immortalis they have penetrated my monsters. Yet, around 3 monsters were defeated from my enemy's lineup.

ROUND 4

Nerissa Tridawn is a strong monster, luckily I have silence and void that decreases the penetration of her attacks. Giving my monsters a good chance to defeat her with Goblin Tower as the last person damaging her and blasted thru Magi of Chaos' holy protection preparing him for the next round's defeat.

ROUND 5

Despite Barking Spider's inability to attack, he was a good tank for the team to defeat the enemy. It was a good wrap-up game for me and I have learned from this game's strategy.

I do have a weakness in using Immortalis as a summoner because he has high mana, but he was very useful in this challenge.
