SPLINTERLANDS WEEKLY BATTLE CHALLENGE: KULU SWIMHUNTER!

avatar

Another week, another challenge to make!
Welcome to Hkinuvaime's blog on...

Happy moment (1).gif

Swimhunter can be understood as hunters under the sea, but what about Kulu? So, I looked it up and saw that this word is in many languages, but I found it more attractive in the Hawaiian language, translated as trickle which means "come, go, or appear slowly or gradually". Therefore, Kulu Swimhunters have the ability to dive in slowly, gradually without us knowing.😱

Monsters:

Strategy

Lir Deepswimmer - I choose this summoner to maximize the strength of Kulu Swimhunter. Kulu Swimhunter doesn't have much ability but its ranged attack is considered good. The best strength this summoner have is the return damage.
Serpent of Eld- I put this monster as the first tank because of its ability that I really like, dodge. With this ability, almost all of the enemy's attacks would be missed. (Hoping that the enemy will not use magic, because if he does, I'll be dead)
Kulu Swimhunter- This cannot be served as the best second tank but because of the battle rules and my summoner's extra armor, this card was at its best, with his range attacks, it could greatly damage the enemy.
Wavebrood- is one of the best cards I had with opening Chaos Legion packs. It is in the best position, taunting the enemy and making them attack him first. Keeping my first tank in a better condition.
Axemaster- I preferably choose, the Axemaster, one of the best support I have, with its double attack.
Pirate Archer- He could have been low mana but the damage that it could bring my enemy is outstanding, giving additional damage to the nearby target monster.
Djinn Oshannus- Thinking that the enemy might use a magic attack, I positioned him at the last, since magic is still stronger damage to give the enemy, putting him last may be a great support and back attack tank.

My ENEMY's lineup

Summoner:

Monsters:

Happy moment (5).gif

The enemy had a great choice of his summoner and monsters. He really prepared for my attack. It's like he read my mind that I would use ranged attacks.

ROUND 1

All aboard! Let's go deep into the sea and witness the fight between me and my enemy! As I have said earlier, the enemy is wise to use Contessa L'ament. My monsters now have decreased ranged attacks. He even used Disintegrator to diminish my melee attack. (Very Clever) But she also used ranged attacks, where my Summoner would return fire for every attack he gives me. Now, who's more clever?

ROUND 2

As we have moved forward to round 2, it started with Djinn Oshannus attacking Cursed Windeku, followed by the Axemaster's final blows. With Wave Brood's taunt and Lir's return fire, every attack of the enemy goes back to them, thanks to Wave Brood's high life, it manages to almost finish this round. Still, my Kulu Swimhunter is stayed strong throughout these rounds.

ROUND 3

This round, the Windeku and Wave Brood is gone, and my team has been aggressive and defensive at the same time.

ROUND 4

Serpent of Eld was the very best tank in this, and Kulu Swimhunter was still untouchable. This round made my enemy dumbfounded. He is like a statue leaving 1 monster to attack me because of ranged attacks, there isn't much you can do if you are positioned as first.

DID YOU STRATEGY WORK?

Yes it worked! It really made me happy that my strategy worked, leaving my enemy stunned.

WHAT WILL YOU TRY DIFFERENTLY NEXT TIME?

Maybe, I will try Alric Stormbringer as my summoner next time and put a magic army and make Kulu Swimhunter as my last tank.

Do you like KULU SWIMHUNTER? Why or why not?

Honestly speaking, I don't like him because I'm pro magic. I really have a hard time battling with ranged attacks and Kulu Swimhunter doesn't have any special abilities. But in this battle challenge, I liked him. He was untouchable side by side with Serpent of Eld and Wave Brood.
