Good day sentinels of Splinterlands family, here I am today presenting to you Regal Peryton of the Earth Element!

Ever since the chaos legion pack has been released, Regal Peryton has been one of the monsters I have taken to liking. Because of its magic attack, flying ability, and somehow high health with average mana.

I'd like to share how Regal Peryton looked in my eyes, 😆 he looked like a unicorn.

In European literature and art, the unicorn has for the last thousand years or so been depicted as a white horse-like or goat-like animal with a long straight horn with spiraling grooves, cloven hooves, and sometimes a goat's beard. -Wikipedia

I was trying to make my drawing to look like he is about to fly but, it did not end well like what I thought. This is truly a challenge for an aspiring artist like me.

RULES OF THE GAME

MY LINE UP

Game rules have only 14 mana and choosing Obsidian would deduct 4 of the mana cap available, but because I want to put into a great advantage of our featured card, I chose Obsidian to add magic to Regal Peryton and used magic as my back attack.

QUEEN MYCELIA	This was the card I got from opening one of my Chaos Legion Pack last week that I highlighted last Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I love this card because of her additional shield. Though there is a slight chance of the enemy using it. She had the higher card compared to other low mana monsters under the earth element.

ROUND 1

My honest thoughts in this battle are that I thought that my enemy would use a fire element and thought I could protect my monsters with Queen Mycelia's protection abilities while at the same time protecting them from the earthquake rule. To my horror, they used Obsidian too. But, I did not faze and continued the battle. (We could skip to results but couldn't declare defeat anyway, 😆) As the battle started, my Regal Peryton was the first to attack, defeating the enemy's copied first tank. 🤣 Next attack he defeated my Mycelic Morphoid. My Queen Mycelia then attack the Failed Summoner giving a rebuttal from his reflect ability.

ROUND 2

Thanks to Queen Mycelia's 4 health caps and protection, she was able to stay until the next without being hurt by the earthquake rule. In opposition to my enemy's other monsters, they were defeated by the rule set. It ended earlier than I have imagined.

ROUND 3

On this round, my Queen Mycelia has been affected by the earthquake rule yet she was left with 1 health and my Regal Peryton seized this battle and had taken home the bacon. He was truly the hero during this battle.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

Yes, in line with the game rules given, his flying ability protected him from dying caused by the earthquake rule. He has higher health with an average mana cap.
