Game Plan

Your task is simple: create the strongest possible lineup for the battle conditions below and explain why your team guarantees the win.

Battle Conditions:

  • Ruleset: Shapeshift Happens

  • Mana Cap: 99
  • Splinters Allowed: Fire and Water only
  • No Neutral monsters allowed

To enter, share:

  1. Your full lineup in order
  2. Which Archon you would use
  3. Why you picked each card
  4. What you think most opponents will play
  5. How your lineup counters them

Bonus points for:

  • Challenging other entrants for this battle
  • Sharing a battle screenshot if you test the lineup in-game

What makes this challenge interesting is that it is not just about building the most expensive or highest damage team possible.

Because both players know the exact battle conditions, the real challenge becomes reading the meta, predicting what other players will choose and building a lineup that can survive even when your opponent expects it.

What makes this challenge unique. There is no single obvious answer.

It also creates a lot of engagement because people can debate each other's teams, discuss counters, argue over which splinter is strongest and even test each other's lineups in real battles.

You are not just entering a contest.

You are trying to solve a meta puzzle.

The goal is to build a team so dangerous, so reliable and so well thought out that even when your opponent knows exactly what is coming… they still cannot stop it.

Good luck.

begin.
