Saturday Savers Club Progress #week 27 - 23/09/22 - Passive LEO income is increasing towards my target level and splinterlands rental income is down

Its week 27 of my savings focus, working with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative. I've had to post early this week due to other commitments, so its really on 5.5 days since my last update.

Weekly Progress Summary

• I had an ok week at best (they cant all be great !)k,
• Couldnt get a reading from Hivestats on author and curation rewards, but they were below average for me this week,
• My 30 day moving average LEO income generation stands at +5.81 LEO (174/month) down slightly from +5.86 LEO (176/month) last week, but holding in that general area, which is great, and sufficient to provide a surplus on the current requirement of 150 for LPUD. I'm pretty happy about that but will keep on delegating HP to @leo.voter until I'm comfortably generating over 200/month,
• My main investment focus continues to be LEO generation for LPUD and growing my rental position within Splinterlands. The former is going well and I'm very close to being able to generate 200 LEO a month without purchasing from the market which is great. The latter is in the early stages and the rental market has taken a complete kicking these last three weeks, so income is down again quite, which is not ideal - will just have to see how that goes,
• My DEC holdings have gone down by 325 over the week due to a downward trend in the Hive:DEC pool. I'm in the pool for the long term anyway, so I just need to ride the bumps, and the daily payouts will smooth out the bumps over time anyway noting that the Splinterlands APR for that pool is currently at around 64% - I do like to HODL.

Key highlights were

• I bought 1 splinterlands rental card this week (Djinn Renova), and also won 1 or 2 in giveaways - I'm being more picky about the cards I purchase with the rental market being so poor at the moment,
• I gained +0.3 EDS, +0.23 DHEDGE, +1.88 ARCHON, +67 WOO, +4 PIZZA, +19 ALIVE, +50 CTP, +56 LOLZ, +25 FUN, +20 SPT and +35 LEO via staking, giveaways, passive income, curation and or tips - who doesnt love synergy and compound interest !

Weekly Plan Changes

• no changes.

Main Targets - these remain unchanged, but my primary and secondary aims are close to completion

• Primary - Growing HP and delegating it to @leo.voter to increase my daily LEO income with the aim of gaining +6.66 HP per day which would give the 200 LEO needed each month for LPUD (I'm aware that the last two LPUDs needed 150, but I thought I'd keep my eyes on 200 incase it changes again),
• Secondary - Adding funds to the HIVE.SWAP:DEC pool to grow daily DEC income to help fund new splinterlands cards in order to grow my rental income,
• Tertiary - Re-investing all splinterlands rental card DEC income back into high APR earning cards.

Plan for the coming week

• I am finding that if try to work on too many main targets at a time that I spread myself and my investment too thin - so I'll keep working on just 2-3 at a time, adn get them to where I need them to be before I move onto new targets,
• To make atleast one post daily to ensure a daily income of HIVE/HBD,
• Continuing to keep active in #leofinance to provide additional LEO income, including making at least one thread per day,
• With the price of HIVE so low I'll keep trading any HBD payouts to HIVE and hold a decent amount as liquid HIVE for buying back into HBD when the price of HIVE rises (closer to $1+). I have HBD sell orders in the range $0.40 to 0.47, and HBD buy orders in the range $0.55 to $0.90,
• After each Listnerds post payout, I withdraw 3% of my total balance, and now have a weekly income stream that I sell and use to invest in other layer 2 coins and projects - although my Listnerds payouts have dropped over the last few week, hence I've reduce the withdrawal to 3% ( I was at 20% at one point),
• I'm making sure I make better use of tags in relevant posts where I can for better curation payouts, with a focus on #ARCHON, #ALIVE (#aliveandthriving), #LOLZ, #FUN, #GAMER, #BATTLE, #PGM and #CTP - as I have stakes in these,
• To delegate any remaining layer2 tokens I can to LOLZ or the cartel so that they are being put to work to earn some additional income.
