Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Avina of the Wolf | Tactics-Summoner

(Edited)

Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Weekly Challenge and for this week, we have the rebellion theme once again. So today, as the theme suggests we write on rebellion cards and anything related to that. Without much anticipation, I will set the ball rolling.

source

I will write and share a battle link where I used a rebellion summoner to play a battle and display to you guys how the battle went. Let's briefly look at the ruleset of the battle. We had aim true as the battle ruleset and with that, no misses on an attack by any monster.

Aim True Blind, flying, and dodging are useless. This Ruleset doesn't give Ranged monsters the ability to attack from the first position. Choose higher speed or higher health combined with high damage output. Return Fire ability is great in this ruleset.

Summoner Used: Avina of the Wolf

I used the Avina of the Wolf summoner which is a rebellion summoner and a tactics summoner as well. This summoner costs 5 mana and it is a level one card. It allows one to select between +2 speed for two monsters or one healing ability for one monster in your lineup. With my line-up, I had five monsters and they were Blinding Reflector, Stitch Leech, Pelacor Arbalest, Spirit Hoader, and Iziar. My opponent had six monsters in his lineup, including Cursed Windeku, Arachne Thug, Riftwing, Zyriel, Chaos Agent, and Crypt Beetle.

Battle Rounds This battle lasted for three rounds and I would share what transpired in all the rounds in this post. Before the first round started, my summoner tactics effect allowed me to select between giving two speeds to two monsters or adding a healing ability to one monster. I chose the speed ability where I added them to the Pelacor Arbalest and Stitch Leech monsters.

First:

In the first round, the Pelacor Arbalest monster attacked first and did four damages to the first-position monster of my opponent. Riftwing which got an attack from Zyriel attacked my last positioned monster with 3 range attack. Iziar also attacked back with its magic ability. Spirit Hoarder healed the Iziar monster which was adjacent to it.

At the end of the round, no monster was eliminated from both sides.

Second:
In this round, the Pelacor Arbalest monster with the highest speed attacked the Cursed Windeku monster twice and eliminated it. Arachne Thug monster attacked and eliminated my first position monster which was left with just a health to be eliminated.

After subsequent attacks from his monsters, he eliminated two of my monsters including the Iziar monster at the last position. At the end of the round, I was left with just two monsters left while he had five more monsters left.

Third:
In this round, I knew I couldn't make it in this battle because the last monster that could attack in my lineup was the Spirit Hoader monster which had just two health and could not maintain my team to win.

With one attack from Arachne Thug, I was left defeated with zero monsters left.

I haven't been finding it easy to win battles, especially with the rebellion summoners, but I am trying my best to get used to them. Battle link here

THANK YOU ALL.
