Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Quora Towershead with Martyr effect

Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Weekly Challenge and for this week, we have the theme to be about sharing your personal battle that you like. Without much anticipation, I will set the ball rolling.

I will write and share a battle link where I used a rebellion monster to play a battle and show you how the battle went. Let's briefly look at the ruleset of the battle. We had "Keep your distance" as the battle ruleset and with that, no melee monster would be used in the battle.

Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles. You can use high HP or high-speed Ranged monsters at position 2 (or even at position 1 if it has Heal). Choose summoners that give a bonus to Ranged attack or to speed and then choose high-damage Ranged attack monsters. Beware of the possibility that your opponent might pick Lir Deepswimmer as a summoner or monsters with Return Fire. High HP and Heal are the way to go in this ruleset.

Summoner Used: LOBB LOWLAND

I used the Lobb Lowland summoner which is a Chaos Legion summoner. This summoner costs 6 mana and it is a level two card. It decreases the speed of all my opponent's monsters. It also gives me the chance to select a Gladius monster. With my line-up, I had six monsters: Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead, Fungus Flinger, Failed Summoner, Ava the Undaunted, and Lurking Puffer. My opponent had six monsters in his lineup: Antoid Platoon, Disintegrator, Tenyii Striker, Gobalano Soldier, Torch Vizier, and Mad Ogre Anachist.

Battle Rounds This battle lasted for four rounds and I would share what transpired in all the rounds in this post. Before the first round started, all monsters had their effects from the summoners.

First:

In the first round, the Gobalano Soldier with the ambush ability attacked first before the round began after which Quora attacked the first monster of my opponent and was followed by a range attack by Ava the Undaunted monster which was able to eliminate the armor of Antoid Platoon monster.

Torch Vizier monster with its opportunity ability attacked and eliminated my Venari Marksrat monster which was in the first position. Quora Towershead monster gained an increase in stats from the martyr effect of the Venari Marskrat monster. Failed Summoner attacked by a range and was able to eliminate the Antoid Platoon monster. Mad Ogre monster also attacked and eliminated my Lurking Puffer monster but with the corrosive ward effect, its armor was destroyed. At the end of the round, two of my monsters were eliminated.

Second:
In this round, the Quora Towershead monster with the highest speed attacked first with both magic and melee damage. Ava the Undaunted then-range attacked and eliminated the disintegrator monster after which all my melee attack monsters gained an increase in melee damage.

Subsequent attacks from my opponent's monsters and also the Mad Ogre Monster eliminated my Fungus Flinger monster as well and with its martyr effect, increased both the Failed Summoner monster and Quora Towershead monster's stats. At the end of the round, I was left with three monsters in my team lineup.

Third:
In this round, I knew it was going to be an easy win for me because the remaining monsters on my opponent's lineup weren't strong enough to battle me. Quora with the first magic attack eliminated the Tenyii Striker monster after which it increased in stats and then eliminated the Gobalano Soldier with its melee attack damage.

Attacks from Ava the Undaunted and the Failed Summoner were able to eliminate the Torch Vezier monster as well. At the end of the round, only one monster was left on my opponent's lineup.

Fourth Round:

In the fourth round, the first magic attack from Quora was enough to eliminate the last standing monster of my opponent and that brought us to the end of the battle and I emerged victorious.
