Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - The Moxian Rebel Monster with Obsidian is a great combo

Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Weekly Challenge and for this week, we have the rebellion theme once again. So today, as the theme suggests we write on rebellion cards and anything related. Without much anticipation, I will set the ball rolling.

I will write and share a battle link where I used a rebellion monster to play a battle and show you how the battle went. Let's briefly look at the ruleset of the battle. We had "Keep your distance" as the battle ruleset and with that, no melee monster would be used in the battle.

Keep your distance Blind, flying, and dodging are useless. This Ruleset removes all melee attacking monsters from the battle. Monsters with Melee attacks may not be used in battles. Keep no attack or higher HP monsters in the front. Keep higher-speed Magic monsters with abilities like Flying, Dodge, and Blind in the front.

Summoner Used: Obsidian

I used the Obsidian summoner which is a Chaos Legion summoner. This summoner costs 4 mana and it is a level two card. It increases all magic attack monsters' abilities by one magic attack. With my line-up, I had six monsters: Ulundin Overseer, Moxian Rebel, Chaos Agent, Blackmoor Nymph, Spirit Hoarder, and Mycelic Slipspawn. My opponent had six monsters in his lineup: Mycelic Slipspawn, Queen Mycelia, Spirit Hoarder, Psychic Goblin, Fungus Flinger, and Regal Peryton.

Battle Rounds This battle lasted for four rounds and I would share what transpired in all the rounds in this post. Before the first round started, all monsters had their effects from the summoners.

First:

In the first round, the Pelacor Arbalest monster attacked first and did four damages to the first-position monster of my opponent. Riftwing which got an attack from Zyriel attacked my last positioned monster with 3 range attack. Iziar also attacked back with its magic ability. Spirit Hoarder healed the Iziar monster which was adjacent to it. Also, the Moxian Rebel monster also affected its weapon training ability to the adjacent monsters that is both Ulundin Overseer and Chaos Legion monsters. This gave all my monsters to possess the magic ability.

Regal Peryton attacked my Mycelis Slipspawn monster first after which it then retaliated and attacked the first-position monster. 2 magic attacks came from the Chaos Legion monster as well and then the Spirit Hoarder monster healed my Myclic Slipspawn monster and then attacked as well. After subsequent magic attacks, my Moxian Rebel monster eliminated the Mycelic Slipspawn monster at the first position in my opponent's lineup. I was having all my monsters intact at the end of the first round.

Second:
In this round, the Regal Peryton monster with the highest speed attacked first after which my Mycelic Slipspawn monster attacked and eliminated the Queen Mycelia monster. Spirit Hoarder monster restored the health of my Myclic Slipspawn monster and then attacked and eliminated the Spirit Hoarder monster of my opponent.

After subsequent attacks from all monsters before the round ended, I had all my six monsters intact while my opponent only has three more monsters left.

Third:
In this round, I knew it was going to be an easy win for me because the remaining monsters on my opponent's lineup weren't strong enough to battle me. Mycelic Slipspawn eliminated the Psychic Goblin monster with just one attack.

Attacks from both the Chaos Legion and the Spirit Hoarder monster were enough to eliminate the Fungus Flinger monster as well. At the end of the round, only one monster with only one health was left for my opponent. In the next round, with just one attack from Mycelic Slipspawn, I was able to eliminate that and had a flawless victory.

The Moxian Rebel monster is a good option to be added when using the Obsidian summoner in battle. Battle link here
