My first web3 gaming experience.

I have been willing to dive into web3 gaming for a long time but I have been skeptical for a while now until I got involved with Holozing game which is the latest game on the blockchain. Getting on board with the Holozing game motivated me to test the waters with Splinterlands and yes this is me testing it!😊😊

It felt like the universe heard my prayers as I got gifted a promo code that enabled me to buy a spell book and I was also promised some free packs as well courtesy of one of the spaces I joined for the Zealy campaign.

How was your first Experience playing the game?

Lol, it was overwhelming but I was prepared for it as I have heard some oldies talk about how tasking the game can be sometimes so yes I knew I had to brace myself for the challenge.
You know when you walk into a room for the first time and you are welcomed by unfamiliar faces? that's how I felt the moment I got started.

I started by first visiting the Splinterlands website, I logged in with my Hive username and posting keys.

I had to purchase my spellbook to get started, using the promo code that I was gifted I was able to buy my summoner's spellbook.

Lol, I don't what I clicked on but I know I was ready to battle with any and everyone😊😊

I did read a thing or two about the game but those were just theories, I had to play the game for myself as mixing theories and practical works perfectly well.

Before the match began I had to create a team of which I terribly did. With my summoner’s card I was able to summon different monsters to create my team since I was a novice I decided to go ahead and choose the cards that looked cute😊😊 imagine using cuteness as a criterion for creating your team for a battle!

I made five to six attempts and the paring of the card was wrong I guess.

After failing a couple of times I decided to go read more about the game and @cpol has been very helpful, he has been directing me on how to play the game. For starters, it was my reply to his tweet that earned me my first-ever spell book.

At first, while test-running the game, I kept placing various cards because I needed to create a team ASAP as I really wanted to see what the battlefield looked like.

After I was defeated I ran into full study mode, I began to understand what each icon and number on the cards represented, the pros and cons of having them, and how to position them for a battle, the various elements and what mana actually meant.

To the best of my ability, I was able to create a good team and after several attempts I WON!🥰🥰 I won my first ever web3 game😃😃

While I continue on my Splinterlands journey I just thought to share my experience with web3 gaming with you all🥰
