I'm proud of calling Hive as a growing ecosystem with amazing projects. Though we are aware of it, the outsiders know Hive as another blog that people upvote each other and make a couple of bucks.

The popularity of Splinterlands opened a door for Hive to be recognized as a "perfect match" for blockchain-based games thanks to 0 fees and nearly instant transactions.

Meanwhile, the game stress-tested Hive blockchain with millions of transactions per day. Proud to say that the blockchain could handle the load of transactions with minor issues.

It is not hard to understand what happens when Play2Earn and GameFi trends come back stronger. As one of the leading games of crypto, Splinterlands will have millions of players who will rush into Lands, valuable tokens, rentings etc.

I think it is a one in a million opportunity for Hive ecosystem to go viral and fascinate crypto ecosystem with already existing projects that we have. Yet, there are some rivals that are great, as well.

I think Ethereum L2 projects may get the whole attention on them.
Polygon is grabbing awesome projects to operate on it.
Immutable X is a nice project that will shine bright.
Ronin is (though hacked) preparing developing nice stuff.

We are competing with WAX, Avalanche (Side-Chains), Telos only for now. If Ethereum L2 projects can be as lucky as Ronin (Axies), then they will eat the majority of the cake...

Splinterlands already have a budged for marketing. However, Decentralized Hive Fund may also allocate some money for Splinterlands to be listed on top exchanges or there may be a budged for advertisements.
