But here's the question that has been occupying my thoughts lately:

Amidst the great uncertainties of the cryptocurrency market and the characteristic volatility of Splinterlands, is investing in card packs hoping to get something extraordinary really a good option?

The volatility of Splinterlands' assets and tokens is like a wild roller coaster, much like other cryptocurrencies in the world. The value of cards can skyrocket quickly after certain prints, a new dominant strategy, or even a change in the game's meta. At the same time, the market can plummet abruptly, leaving investors in a state of uncertainty. Investing in card packs is a risky bet, just like any investment in the world of cryptocurrencies. The chance of getting an extraordinary card is tempting, but there's also the risk of receiving cards that may not have the expected value. It's like opening a box of surprises, and not always is the surprise positive.

Certainly not.

On the other hand, the unpredictable nature of Splinterlands can also create unique opportunities. Imagine that in these same packs, you could obtain at least three legendary GF monsters. Currently, the lowest-priced monster among these options is BERA DALLIN, costing $163.35; thus, all the packs would have been paid off with her, and the rest would be profit.
