Tip and Personal Opinion for New Splinterlands Players, Investing for the Long Term - English / Português
I don't have much experience creating content for Splinterlands, as until recently, I only shared my gameplay in the #HiveGaming community through my lost account on this network. However, I decided to heed the recommendation of some Brazilians and start creating content for Splinterlands and participating in the weekly challenges.
From beginner to beginner?
The theme this week was about tips for new users getting involved in the vast Splinterlands ecosystem. I reflected on how I could share strategies, considering my gameplay was almost "idle," mainly through providing liquidity on TribalDex and renting cards to other players, nothing much profitable beyond the necessary. Also, I couldn't provide many details about battle strategies since some of my accounts only battled using the BOT in Wild mode, the only mode that still allows this automated usage. So, I wondered how I could contribute authentically and not repeat what other players were posting.
Therefore, I decided to offer my sincere opinion to new players, perhaps as advice. Just keep in mind, in the initial stage, forget about focusing on the return on investment, don't be anxious to obtain Splintershards tokens through ranked battles and withdraw from stacking. In my view, as a game enthusiast and investor, this would only delay a larger goal. One practice I adopt and appreciate is that when you get card packs, just open them all and sell any card, regardless of its market value or interesting ability. It may seem contradictory for a game where the goal might be to accumulate assets, but there's a reason for this. Renting monsters is accessible to all types of players, meaning you don't need to rent all types of monsters to keep a vast collection in your hands. I recommend renting only those you are sure you will use in almost half of the battles, building a basic team for a maximum of three elements. This approach saves a considerable amount of Dark Energy Crystals tokens and provides more experience with the game's diversities.
What I'm trying to convey with this entire post is that initially, new players should forget any expectation of initial returns through battles before getting the minimum to start. Instead, focus on significantly increasing Splintershards. I emphasized that, being a cryptocurrency, the value can vary considerably over time. However, by keeping up with recent updates and considering the track record of those responsible for Splinterlands and various tools for the Hive ecosystem, personally, I would bet on a good appreciation.

Therefore, my advice for beginners is to focus on building a solid base of Splintershards, strategically exploring monster rentals, and gaining experience with different profit strategies in the game. This approach can yield long-term benefits, considering the dynamic and potentially profitable nature of the Splinterlands game and its ecosystem, which currently also includes a Tower Defense game called SoulsKeep

Apenas tenham em mente, no momento inicial a esquecerem, inicialmente, o foco no retorno de investimento, não se deixando ansiosos para obter os tokens Splintershards através de batalhas ranqueadas e retirar do stacking. Isso, na minha visão como apreciador do jogo além de investidor apenas atrasaria um objetivo maior. Uma prática que adoto e gosto é que ao obter pacotes de cartas é simplesmente abrir todos e vender qualquer carta, independentemente de seu valor no mercado ou habilidade interessante. Pode parecer contraditório para um jogo que o objetivo talvez seja acumular ativos, mas há um motivo para isso. O aluguel de monstros está acessível para todos os tipos de jogadores, isso é, não é necessário alugar todos os tipos de monstros para manter uma vasta coleção em suas mãos. Recomendo alugar apenas aqueles que você tem certeza de que usará em quase metade das batalhas, montando uma equipe base para no máximo três elementos. Essa abordagem economiza uma quantidade considerável de tokens Dark Energy Cristals e proporciona mais experiência com as diversidades do jogo.
O que estou tentando transmitir com todo esse post é que, inicialmente, os novos jogadores devem esquecer qualquer expectativa de retorno inicial através das batalhas antes de obter o mínimo para dar início a isso. Em vez disso, focar em aumentar significativamente os Splintershards. Ressaltei que, por ser uma criptomoeda, o valor pode variar consideravelmente ao longo do tempo.
