What's up, Guys! ign1te here again giving you Splinterlands Battle everyweek😃

What this is all about is a Battle Challenge using the Fire element Scavo Firebolt, it is a rare card that came from Chaos Legion Edition. One of my favorite cards especially if the battle rule is "Little League", "Even Steven", "Rise of the Commons", and "Close Range".

If you are not familiar with these rules yet you can check the Rules category here, or see below the Rules mentioned.

Little League = You can only use Monsters and Summoners with 4 or less mana.

Even Steven = Only even mana cards can be used. Your options to choose cards will be halved. You'll be forced to use cards that you don't use much. But the same goes for your opponent.

Rise of Commons = Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles. Make a well-balanced team. Tank > Magic > Ranged. Find you a nice tank with heal to lead your lineup. Try to focus your attack on a specific part of there team. Spreading out your attack thinly over their team is not a good idea.

Close Range = Range units can attack from position 1. Ranged monsters are the new Melee monsters.

Every single Monster in Splinterlands has a significant difference in every battle rule, so it is important to learn their advantages and disadvantages in those rules.

As mentioned above the Rule advantages of Scavo Firebolt, I will include below the Rule disadvantages of this Monster.

Broken Arrows = No monsters with ranged will be available to choose from.

Odd Ones Out = Only odd mana cards can be used. Your options to choose cards will be halved. You'll be forced to use cards that you don't use much. Don't force a build just to win a daily quest. Dragons can be a gamechanger here.

You've now known about the advantages and disadvantages of this Monster in every rule, but do you already know the Lore, Stats, and Abilities of Scavo Firebolt?

LORE

The Scavo Firebolts peered over the lip of the crevice, staring down at the Chaos Legionnaires marching through the tunnels beneath Mount Praetorius. The mole-like creatures' goggles reflected the glow of the magma that flowed alongside the path. One of them signaled, and the others lifted their hands. Their palms blazed with fire.

Below, the Chaos Legionnaires caught sight of the glow and stopped, staring up. Too late. The Scavo Firebolts launched balls of fire at the Legionnaires, and the figures burst into flames, screaming and staggering. Several fell into the magma and were consumed. Others dropped to the ground and tried to roll around and smother the flames. Still more simply beat at their clothing and armor with their hands or paws or eldritch appendages.

The Scavo Firebolts continued to launch salvo after salvo, and the Chaos Legionnaires burned.

STATS

ABILITY

Knock Out = Knock Out does double damage when attacking enemy that is stunned

Let's start the BATTLE now and take a look at some points to learn about Scavo Firebolt using Yodin Zaku as a Summoner. I called it "THE BLAST REVERSED" because in many cases some players using Yodin, the Monsters with the most Speed win, but this is a reverse Speed rule so the least Speed Monsters are the first to attack.

THE BLAST REVERSED

ENEMY CARDS LINEUP

SUMMONER:
General Sloan - General Sloan is a Life element that came from Chaos Legion, He summons Range Monsters adding a +1 Range attack to its friendly Allie.
MONSTERS:
Tank - Chaos Knight
2nd pos. - Shieldbearer
3rd pos. - Loan Boatman
4th pos. - Portal Spinner
Backlines - Pelacor Arbalest and Mantoid

MY CARDS LINEUP

SUMMONER:
Yodin Zaku - one of the most powerful Summoners that came from Untamed Cards Edition, this summoner specialty is the Blast ability than can add to its Monsters, especially with the Range attack Monsters. Abilities - +1 Range attack, +1 Health, and the Blast.
MONSTERS:
Tank - Grum Flammable
2nd pos. - Lava Launcher
3rd pos. - Molten Ash Golem
4th pos. - Scavo Firebolt
Backlines - Mantoid and War Chaang

RULES

Aim True - Melee and Range attacks always hit their target

Reverse Speed - Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

BATTLE

ROUND 1

The lowest Speed Monsters would be the first attacker and Grum Flammable was the first who attacked in this round, he dealth only 2 damage with Chaos Knight armor and 1 Blast damage to Shieldbearer. Chaos Knight has Shield ability so it was reduced Grum's 4 Melee damage to 2.

The good thing with Grum Flammable aside from its abilities is Grum is best in this kind of ruleset. Yes, he only has 1 Speed from level 1-10. But this rule favors him a huge advantage with his abilities and Speed.

ROUND 1 - 2nd Attacker

Moltem Ash Golem was the 2nd attacker, another first turn from my cards lineup after Grum's attack. Ash Golem attacked Shieldbearer and dealt 2 Range damage plus 1 Blast damage to Lone Boatman. Chaos Knight was not affected by the 1 Blast damage because of its Shield ability (Note: Melee or Range damage that is 1 will deal 0 damage to Monster with Shield ability).

The good thing with this card is the Close Range that he has, even though he's Range Monster he can still perform an attack in the first position.

ROUND 1 - 3rd Attacker

Enemy Chaos Knight was the 3rd attacker in this round and he dealt 2 Melee damage to Grum.

ROUND 1 - 4th Attacker

We have the same Mantoid here and I thought my Mantoid would attack first before the enemy, but it's not. Enemy Mantoid dealt 3 Range damage to Lava Launcher.

For me this Monster is best in Even Steven rule and Close Range, I always use him every time I'm using Range Summoners and I like the Snipe Monsters.

ROUND 1 - 5th Attacker

Enemy Lone Boatman was followed to attack after Mantoid, dealt 3 Range damage to Lava Launcher. Another Range Monster with Snipe ability but unlike Mantoid that is good in Even Steven Rule, Lone Boatman on the other side good in Odd Ones Out Rule.

ROUND 1 - 6th Attacker

My Mantoid attacked enemy Shieldbearer and dealt 3 Range damage + 2 Blast damage to Lone Boatman. My Mantoid attacked Shieldbearer instead of Lone Boatman because Shieldbeaer has a Taunt Ability(All Monsters target the Monster that has Taunt ability)

Screenshot (480).png

ROUND 1 - 7th Attacker

Enemy Pelacor Arbalest attacked and dealt a total of 6 Range damage. Pelacor Arbalest can attack twice because of its Double Strike Ability(Monsters attack twice each round)

ROUND 1 - 8th Attacker

Enemy Portal Spinner attacked and dealt 3 Range damage to my Mantoid. Portal Spinner hits random Monsters because of the Scattershot Ability.
Screenshot (480).pngScreenshot (481).png

ROUND 1 - 9th Attacker

The Scavo Firebolt! Turn for my Scavo Firebolt he's the 9th attacker in this round and let's see how much damage he dealt with enemy Monsters.

Scavo dealt 3 Range damage to enemy Shieldbearer and he was able to kill enemy Lone Boatman. I like this Monster every time I'm using Yodin, he is like Fire Demon in level 3.
Screenshot (480).pngScreenshot (481).pngScreenshot (482).png

ROUND 1 - 10th Attacker

My Lava Launcher attacked and killed enemy Shieldbearer and dealt 1 Blast damage to Chaos Knight.
Screenshot (474).pngScreenshot (481).pngScreenshot (482).png

ROUND 1 - Last attacker on this round

The last attacker in this round was my War Chaang and dealt only 1 damage to the enemy Chaos Knight.

War Chaang has a 2 attack types, it is Range and Melee. The good thing about him is that you can put him at the back of the lineup so it can Retaliate to any Monster that has Sneak ability. This Monster is also good in Melee Mayhem rule, he's like having a Double Strike ability.
Screenshot (482).pngScreenshot (483).png

Watch the full battle here, This battle only lasts for 2 Rounds and I tell you, Round 2 of this battle was awesome. Watch how Grum Flammable eliminates all of them.

WHAT WOULD I TRY NEXT?🤔

What I want to try next is the upcoming New Reward card from Fire Element The Countess Sinash, a Range Legendary Monster. I'm so excited to try them out soon when new Reward Cards are available in loot chests and able to use. Countess Sinash is good for Yodin I think, and I saw Sinash's abilities are insane!
