#LOH 175: Unspoken Sacrifices,Unspoken Strength.

Hello everyone. Good morning and welcome to my Blog. Special thanks to @ladies if hive for this weeks prompts and the judge of this week @nainaztengra.

So today I'll be writing about sacrifices I made and didn't speak about it. In a world where women are often expected to be the pillars of strength and selflessness within their families, the concept of sacrifice has become deeply intertwined with the female experience. From putting aside personal aspirations to prioritizing the needs of lovedO ones, women navigate a complex landscape of responsibilities, expectations, and unspoken sacrifices.

Sacrifice, in the context of womanhood, is not just a choice but often a societal expectation. Women are taught from a young age to prioritize the well-being of their families above their own desires and ambitions. The image of the selfless mother, the devoted wife, the nurturing caregiver is deeply ingrained in cultural narratives and societal norms.

It is in the quiet moments, away from the spotlight and the hustle of daily life, that the true magnitude of a woman's sacrifices becomes apparent. The late nights spent caring for sick children, the dreams deferred to support a partner's career, the relentless juggling of multiple roles and responsibilities – these are the threads that weave the fabric of a woman's sacrifice.

Yet, despite the weight of these expectations and the often unspoken nature of their sacrifices, women continue to give tirelessly out of love and devotion. The sacrifices made by women are not always grand gestures or dramatic displays of selflessness; they are often quiet, understated acts of love that form the foundation of family life.

The journey of sacrifice is not without its challenges and complexities. Women may find themselves grappling with feelings of guilt, resentment, or unfulfillment as they navigate the delicate balance between caring for others and nurturing their own well-being. The societal pressure to constantly put others first can take a toll on mental and emotional health, leading to a sense of identity loss or burnout.

It is essential to recognize and celebrate the strength, resilience, and unwavering love that women bring to their acts of sacrifice. Women's sacrifices are not a sign of weakness, but a testament to their boundless capacity for love and compassion. It is through these acts of sacrifice that women demonstrate their immense courage, empathy, and dedication to the well-being of their families.

This is my own story........I finished secondary school 2019. I had decided that after school I was going to get a little job so I could get money to solve some of my needs and make the burden lighter for my mom.

But I noticed the burden was going to be lighter financially. There were also a lot of things to do at home that time, cooking, taking care of the home, my grandparents and the rest.

So I sacrificed to stay home and do all of these things. My mom asked me why I didn't opt for taking a job again, I told her I rather not say it. I later got a job online to still help with the ginances at home but I didn't say anything about it.

My mom could stay still at work without rushing home to do anything, this had started to affect her at work because she was no longer concentrating. My dad too, sometimes had to do short shifts. So he could also help at home. But all of that decreased because I sacrificed to do all they did.
