LolOH#170: Actions or thoughts to take to keep a person in check and control ourselves in difficult moments.

Hello ladies. Good evening dear ladies. How are y'all doing. Its a great thing to write on this platform again. Thanks to @thekittygirl and @danigada18 for this week's prompts.

So we've been asked to recommend actions one can take to keep control in difficult moments. Firstly, let's get to know the meaning of difficult moments. Difficult moments can be defined as situations that cause a person to experience negative emotions, such as stress, anxiety, anger, sadness, or fear.

These situations can be brought up from everyday challenges, for example a disagreement with a friend or family member, to major life events, like a job loss or failure with a huge amount of money or the death of a loved one. Difficult moments can also include times when a person feels overwhelmed by their responsibilities or feels like they are not meeting their own expectations. Difficult moments can be very stressful and challenging to navigate.

Do now to the actions that came keep us in check during difficult moments. One things that is very important for one to do during this kind of period is focusing on your breathing. Taking slow breaths, really deep breaths can help to calm the body and put it in check.

Secondly, this one is something I like doing. Its called grounding exercise. It helps a person to stay in the present moment and focus. Grounding exercise reduces anxiety, panic, or stress by focusing on the physical world around you.

Lastly, positive self-talk helps. Practicing self talk helps a lot because it encourages , have personal affirmations you can keep repeating really helps. Atleast discover something that can keep you calm. It can really be a powerful instrument to reduce stress,boost your mood, or help build self-confidence. Words like"I can do it", "I am capable".

Grounding exercises have been a lifesaver to me.. I have quite severe anxiety and they are really helpful on dissociative states too.
