My holidays:Experiences and Lessons.

Good afternoon hivers. How are y'all doing today?? Hope you are enjoying your day?

The holidays are a time when many people come together with their family,friends and loved ones to celebrate. They're often associated with many traditions like giving gifts, and enjoying special foods. For many, the holidays represent a time of peace, joy, and gratitude. D

The holidays have been a very short one. No time to rest and have fun. School and lectures resuming immediately and after one week, exam begins. Like no breathing space.

The holidays have been a less stressful one but I cannot compare them to the previous years. I had the opportunity to spend Christmas with my family and loved ones and close friends. I go to fun places and have fun but this year was kinda boring because I had to stay indoors for almost the whole day.

The holidays are whatever you make of them They can be a time for fun, for reflection, for family, for whatever you want them to be. It depends on you and also how you want it to be.

I will be sharing with you how I spent my Christmas holiday this year. I had a different type of holiday experience from what I use to. I woke up that morning feeling a little bit emotional, I prayed and headed to church for the Christmas service, after church service, I headed home and, took my bath and rested my head.

It was kinda strange and weird for me because it was my first Christmas spent outside home, without my family and friends at home. I played games with the people around and went out later to an eatery to get something nice to eat and drink.

This year's holiday was kind of less stressful because when I spend Christmas holidays at home, I get so stressed because of doing a lot ranging from house chores to making general meals ti serving people and the rest but this year I have not done any of that, I've had enough time to myself and enough time to rest.

I also took time to share the word with some people in the environment that were around, and I felt this inner joy inside of me. I felt I fufilled the purpose of the season.

I also reached out to the little kids that have not had the chance to spend this Christmas with their loved ones. I talked to them, encouraged them and gave a little token. I shared my story with them, how God has really helped me since I lost my both parents and how he has raised me.

Really not been the best of holidays but I'm glad I've been able to find something to be grateful for 🙏
That's the true spirit of holidays.
