Side hustle 101: Getting started with a new venture.

Good morning hivers. How y'all doing?? So today I'm going to be sharing with you how the first three days of my week has 🐝. Its been a stressful one but also an educative one.

I e been talking to my pastor that apart from the what I do and school, I will like to have a side hustle. Where I can earn from and also something exciting and educative I can learn from. He advised I should try paper work. He hooked me up with someone.

I got a call on Sunday evening that there was a job to be delivered on Thursday. Meaning it was an urgent one. A certain department needed a handbook for its students and my boss needed hands to do the job. It was actually my first time doing it. I was scared at first to handle it but I said to myself "you can do it".

He emailed the work to me and i went ahead to scan through correct the mistakes. He used corel draw x7 to design the cover page and Microsoft 2023 for the leaves.

I proceeded to printing the work and then I sorted the papers out to avoid it being disorganized and messy. And also it helped me identify the unneeded papers. I couldn't do this alone so I was supported by my friend.

After the sorting, i proceeded to trim the excesses out so it could fit the cover page. And then I assembled it together.

Matwrials i used for the trimming and assembling.

Ruler: It helps to create clean straight edges on the paper and ensure that all pages are the same size.

Stapler and staples: This device is used to fasten together paper documents by inserting staples into the paper while staples are small pieces of metal wire that is used to fasten sheets of paper together.

**Scissors **: Scissors are used to cut paper into desired shape or size.

I assembled and fasten the staples to each sheet, it was fun and educative. I learnt a lot, from designing to be able to sort without mistakes and also I felt this joy of doing something with my own hands.

And yes , Je l'ai fait , I did it. Below are pictures of my work ready to be delivered ☺️

Thank you for stopping by.

Hi there @imaima this is @tengolotodo and it is great to see you over here at the Silver Bloggers Community...

It's a pleasure that you want to take part in our "Library of Wisdom and Fun"! But there is always a but - i personally got the feeling that you are a "youngster" compared to what we actually "have set" as an average age to have in our community.

So, you might don't get the support in our community because of that. And your post will not be curated by our Moderators. #justSaying

Though you'll be always welcomed, like our children and grand children are. 😏

This was a great post and might have been better if you had posted it in the Hive Diy community
