Card Shopping <3 Can buying reward cards make you rich?

I have used many of trading strats on the splinterlands market. FAR AND AWAY THE MOST PROFITABLE for me has been buying up floor cards at the right time, then renting renting them. I will then sell them if the price in DEC goes about 2x

When is a good time to buy you ask? How do I know im getting a deal!? Well Information, @peakmonsters, and myself have your back. One thing not everyone knows is cards have a BURN VALUE. Meaning you can delete a card from the ecosystem and get back a set amout of DEC for it. This fact, paired with @peakmonsters rental system and compare tabs, we can sus out the deals we want.

What your looking at here is the PRICE ABOVE BURN compare function on @peakmonsters. Here we can see the TRUE COST of a card.

Example - Epic Reward Cards can be burned for 100 DEC at ANYTIME WITHOUT INTERACTING W/ THE MARKET. NO LIQUITITY NEEDED FOR YOUR ABSOLUTE DOWN SIDE CALCULATION. These Epics sell for about 125 DEC, leading to a TRUE COST OF 25 DEC. This is a major factor that has keep me feeling safe buying ALL the reward cards I can muster. Keep in mind thats about 25% of cost you need to make back before burning the card is profitable. Rentals play a major roll in offsetting the TRUE COSTS of these buys, as we constanly lower our cost while waiting for the sell signals.

You can take this a step further using BIDS. I've been grabbing Epics for about 115 DEC/BCX for a week or 2 now by using bids. Still though, you can go EVEN FURTHER while DEC is below peg. Check this one out...

So we know about burning EPIC cards for 100 DEC now. At peg, thats $0.10. With card selling close to burn rates paired with DEC below peg, moving USD into cards looks like a very valid option again. As when DEC hits peg, you can burn these for instant profits (0 market interaction) if you chose to do so. Selling is the real plan, but the burn is important for its the reason I'm buying. The absolute downside will be green :D

This pic shows what EPICs are selling for. As we can see, they are selling for BELOW THIER PEGGED BURN VALUE IN USD. This is what makes me say its a valid time to move USD into the game. If you were paying attention to the market, you saw what land survaying did to card prices. Soon land 1.5 comes and will have IMO a far greater effect on card prices at the start. The last moves were off hype alone, Land 1.5 will actually remove TONS of cards from the market. Lower supply and increased demand usually leads to happy places!

So get your plans ready, even if you don't own land you can PROFIT off of how it will effect the market. Position yourself while you have time, you have been warned <3
