I'm only dipping my toe in S&S I'm on level 10 and it's difficult to defeat enough enemies to raise up the level. DBLN tokens used to be easier to get (and worth a lot more) it will be interesting to see where the game goes down the line.

The best way to level up is to do quests and use the DBLN you get by defeating monsters to pay for heal from healers (which is the cheapest way to get healed). Once you reach lvl 20 the shaman will heal you to 1000 HP, which is really helpful. At lvl 20 you are also able to buy cows, which give a very good ROI and are a must-buy :)

Hitting lvl 20 should be your top priority, as from there the game become a bit easier!

About the value of DBLN it seems to rise and fall according to the release of new features/buildings/power ups: after its rise when the ranches were released, now it's going down and I guess that there's a good chance that it will rise again when something new is announced... or if a big player choose to buy a lot of potions to level up! :)
