My goal before the next two months is saving up about 150 hive to aid my hive journey. Gaming will make that easier or even faster.

Life growth can be attributed to basically setting targets or goals. Without daily goals or targets, there is a likelihood for an individual to revolve around without hitting the supposed point as a result of not setting targets. Learning how to save money is the best thing that can happen to anyone, because emergencies may arise, one thing or two may happen, but with this savings due to being focused, it will help resolve any pending issue or demand at anytime. There was a day I bumped into a conversation with some individuals, and one of them boldly said, "If one has money today, he should spend it." This concept of his really got me laughing and was like, "Let me know why this guy chose this path," which I asked, "why must he say so?"

His next statement was, "It is only someone who is alive that can spend money." Adding to that, he said you don't know when death will come. But the question here is: after spending all the money that is supposed to go into future investments or life savings on only enjoyment and you don't die, what happens next? This is where poverty will start knocking because every opportunity missed can barely be fixed. The targets we set today can either be achieved at the end of the day or in the future. When I first thought of how I could save up N50,000 from Hive, I looked at various aspects where I could make that possible, and at some point I was tempted to go for a hive power down. This could have been the dumbest thing to do at this point because my HP, which I basically consider to be growing, will now decrease. After much consideration, I ruled out the option of powering down hive.

Much thought on the issue led me to resolve in:

• Increase engagement on hive
• Conversation of my GLX rewards to hive.

By saying increase engagement on Hive, I mean trying as much as I can to create quality contents that will help boost my set goals despite the time spent on academic activities. It can be really demanding at a point where academic activities interfere with other engagements.

At the point where I know quality content can be met on a daily basis, my GLX stake will help generate some GLX, which will definitely be converted to Hive, thereby increasing the number of Hive. My first GLX conversation with the hive was yesterday, which I was able to get in about 12 swap.hive, my analysis showed me that if it is only a GLX rewards swap, I can get up to an average of about 80–90 Hive a month, which will definitely result in about 150 $Hive a month. Gaming in Splinterlands will help meet up the target of having increased returns in GLX and SPS as well. This level is what I am advancing to in the meantime.
