Splinterlands Soul bound Rewards are they soul bound?

So having been updated on the soul bound reward front. I am now even more excited for these. @splinterlands @hivegaming
So what are soul bound reward cards? cards that cannot be bought, traded or sold. They can however be combined to create higher level cards.
The new reward set is Linked with the chaos Legion set which means players can use them in any ruleset that allows chaos legion. There will be 43 new Soul bound reward cards which will include 37 monster cards and 6 Summoners. The new set is due to be released January 31st, replacing current reward cards when launched.

Splinterlands have said that the soul bound reward cards would be released to players who earned them in a year or 2 years. Although that is a long time to wait i think that the change itself to soul bound is a positive thing. Firstly i think it causes a problem for bot farms as they will have a long wait to redeem these soul bound cards. Possibly making it less profitable for them. I think they want to improve the player experience and try to get players to build up there card collection.
Current reward cards we have seen the market explode @leofinance as splinterlands have dramatically stopped the print on them. Causing the likes of Countess Sinash and Jared Scar to explode as well as other reward cards.
I was lucky i got a copy of Countess early and i got Jared around the $2 mark. Both level 1 copies i can see Jared going for around $10 as more of these get bought up.
My current season is going well i have joined a guild and managed to do a few brawls. I'm happy about that as it gives me some extra funds for my account.
I did treat myself to a Riftwatcher pack - i didnt get anything interesting. I think i should of bought a couple of chaos legions instead as i think Riftwatcher is a bit pricey.
