Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

pngegg_1_.png

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

Earth Elemental is a very special creature from the realm of Anumun. It can, in essence, change its form depending on the spatial context in which it is found. So it can be as much a tree as a lava flow. Depending on what he wants to be and the conditions of the land around him, he adapts and becomes what he wants. He could be called a shape-shifter.

The three Humans, in the company of Supply Runner, were about to listen to the story of Treebeard. Actually, to be precise, they were about to listen to two stories, the story of Earth Elemental and the story of Treebeard, who was none other than Earth Elemental's Earth Elemental shifter.

"Well Human friends, it is time to tell you my story," said Treebeard.

Small note by the author: Treebeard's story will be told by the author, so there will be no inverted commas.

PS: the character of Treebeard draws inspiration from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. However, his story is adapted by the author (i.e. me) within Splinterlands

At the dawn of time, when the Splinterlands was created, the first creatures to set foot in these realms were magical creatures. Then came all the beasts of the Kingdom of Anumun, and then came the other Splinterlands and other living creatures.
Immediately after the creation of the Splinterlands, the Kingdom of Anumun was entrusted to the protection of Spirit Of The Forest and other magical characters who went on to create the Grand Council of Anumun.
The Grand Council's first decision was to create a shape-shifting creature that could change form depending on where it was. Since little was known about the Splinterlands, numerous explorations of the entire territory were proposed, both to understand what was happening and possibly to establish relations with other living beings. The idea of the shape-shifting creature was precisely that it could be used in the explorations and that it could somehow change its form when necessary. Thus Earth Elemental was born. A creature that changed its form depending on where it was.

The very first form of Earth Elemental was that of Treebeard, one of the oldest creatures in the Kingdom of Anumun. Treebeard had the form of a human, with the features of a giant oak tree. He had long, branchy legs and arms, a bulging head and was almost neckless. His torso was particularly robust. He also had another peculiarity: he could speak. His voice was very low and sombre, alternating with loud sighs.

Treebeard settled in the Enchanted Forest, near the Magic River. Since the waters of the river were made magical by a spell, its banks absorbed all the magical energy and slowly this energy ended up in the Enchanted Forest. At that point, Treebeard took the opportunity to give birth to 20 trees like himself, which drew magical sap from the river waters and slowly grew in stature. It took about 300 years for the trees to become adults, but Treebeard had a lot of patience. At this point he was no longer alone and, above all, he was no longer the only creature that had been thought of like this at the dawn of time.

The Enchanted Forest is a forest accessible to all, of course the Trees are not aggressive but only defend themselves against unjustified attacks and aggression. They have been called into battle several times by the Kingdom of Anumun and have always responded in kind. The only kingdom that frightens Treebeard and his tree friends is the Firelands Kingdom, for obvious reasons related to Fire.

Treebeard was elected head of his lineage and served his Kingdom whenever he was needed.

The advent of the Chaos Legion put the Enchanted Forest in serious danger, but nevertheless the Grand Council of Anumun always did whatever it could to defend it.

Sworn enemies of the Enchanted Forest are the Goblins of Gobson.

" That's it, that's my story friends..." said Treebeard.

"Treebeard we thank you for your valuable time, but now it is time to get back on the road!" said Sinder.
