Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Full Moon Party in Anumun - A splinterland story [pt.22] [ENG/ITA]

Thus began the return journey of the three Human friends to Lyveria. The experience that had just ended had marked them in their souls. All the events they had experienced in that short space of time would surely be a vivid memory for their entire lives. The story is now divided into two parts: the first part sees the journey home of the three Human friends, while the second part tells of the punishments inflicted by the sacred authorities of Anumun on the city of Gobson. ***

The three Humans crossed the threshold of the great gate into the city of Gosbon. Just outside the walls, waiting for them was a Gnome hired especially for them with a cart containing all the supplies they needed for their return journey. Formally a six-hour walk back to Lyveria was necessary, but in practice these hours would be a little longer, as at a certain point the path became impassable. It was all calculated and Sinder knew it well.

"Friends, it takes six hours on paper... I think it will take us eight. If all goes well we will be home this afternoon. Be sure to avoid stopping and avoid giving confidence to the various creatures we might find along our route. Backpack on, we're off!" said Sinder.

The route was actually quite challenging and above all could give rise to minor accidents, in the sense that one had to cross the whole of Anumun from one end to the other. But in order to do so, you had to follow a precise route: cross the sacred river, continue along the road that crossed Southern Gob Hub (do not approach, forbidden to humans), skirt the Great Pit (a huge chasm of unknown depth), pass through Swamps of the Living Moss, cross Mitica Village and Palavan Village. Finally, we crossed the Sacred River again and then found ourselves in front of Lyveria. The route was not easy and was full of dangers, but the three Humans counted on Kron The Undying to let them pass. The greatest dangers were represented by the Southern Gob Hub and the Great Pit. Once through these points, the road would be easier.

"Sinder, do you have any idea what awaits us? Do you have any idea where we have to pass? Do you remember the outward journey? Maybe you have forgotten it. We could never take 8 hours, my guess is at least 12 if all goes well!" said Finnerick.

"Yes Finn, I know. You have to pass through the bleak territories. You have to go through Souther Gob Hub and The Great Pit. But last time we had a pass from Old King WIlhelm and it went well. This time we have a pass from Kron, so I think we won't have any kind of problem. We just have to be careful not to fall into the Great Pit, don't worry about the Hub." replied Sinder.

"Whatever you say, Sinder! You know I trust you blindly..." concluded Finnerick.

" Gentlemen, shall we depart?" intervened Supply Runner.

" That's it... we've missed the gnome now! dammit..." replied Finnerick.

" Sir, I'm offering my services in exchange for a reward... it's my job..." replied the gnome.

" Sure, sure... job...." said Finnerick again.

" Enough Finn, leave him alone. Gnome Supply, thank you for your services. I know the reward was lavish, so honour your agreement and let's get going!" concluded Sinder.

"All right, gentlemen, we're off," exclaimed Supply Runner.

So the three Humans together with Supply Runner left Gobson. Heading for the Sacred River, they had to cross it for the first time. It did not take them long to reach the river, even though the journey involved a lot of effort. Hunger began to make itself felt.

"Hey Sinder, how about we eat something before we cross the river?" said Finnerick.

" Eat? Yes!" exclaimed Ginderuc out of nowhere. It was the second time he made mysterious sounds called words come out of his mouth.

"Ah well, if Ginderuc says so, then we must eat. "Sinder replied.

"What do we have in this wagon?" asked Finnerick.

"Finn, leave the wagon alone. Remember the bread Kron gave us? The magic bread of the Centaurs. One piece is enough and you are satiated. We also have the magic berries of Spirit Of The forest," said Sinder.

Kron had given them Magic Bread, which had the ability to satiate with just a few bites eaten. Spirit Of The forest, on the other hand, had given the humans two kinds of berries: one for physical and mental fatigue, and one to regain strength if anyone was hurt.

Sinder took bread and berries out of the bag and handed some to each of them, including Supply Runner who needed more energy to carry the cart.

The four ate the bread and took a couple of berries each. Suddenly they felt satiated and full of strength.

"Now we can go on. The Sacred River does not cross itself!" said Sinder.

Fu così che ebbe inizio il viaggio di ritorno dei tre amici Umani verso Lyveria. L'esperienza appena conclusa li aveva segnati nell'animo. Tutte le vicende che avevano vissuto in quell'arco di tempo così breve sicuramente saranno un ricordo nitido per la loro intera vita. La storia ora si divide in due parti: la prima parte vede il viaggio di ritorno a casa dei tre amici umani, mentre la secondo parte racconta delle punizioni inflitte dalle autorità sacre di Anumun alla città di Gobson.

I tre Umani varcarono la soglia della grande porta d'entrata della città di Gosbon. Appena fuori le mura ad aspettarli si trovava uno Gnomo noleggiato apposta per loro con un carretto contente ogni tipo di provvista necessaria per il viaggio di ritorno. Formalmente erano necessarie 6 ore di camminata per tornare a Lyveria, ma poi nella pratica queste ore sarebbero state un pò di più visto che ad un certo punto il percorso diventava impervio. Era tutto calcolato e Sinder lo sapeva bene.

" Amici, ci vogliono 6 ore sulla carta... credo ne impiegheremo 8. Se tutto va bene questo pomeriggio saremo a casa. Mi raccomando, evitate di fermarvi ed evitate di dare confidenza alle varie creature che potremmo trovare lungo il nostro percorso. Zaino in spalla, si parte!" disse Sinder.

Il percorso a dire la verità era abbastanza impegnativo e soprattutto poteva dare vita a piccoli incidenti, nel senso che bisognava attraversare da un capo all'altro l'intera Anumun. Ma per farlo bisognava seguire un percorso ben preciso: attraversare il fiume sacro, proseguire lungo la strada che incrociava Southern Gob Hub ( non avvicinarsi, vietato agli umani), costeggiare il Great Pit ( una enorme voragine dalla profondità sconosciuta), passare per Swamps of the Living Moss, attraversare il villaggio di Mitica Village e quello di Palavan Village. Infine riattraversare il Fiume Sacro e poi ci si trova davanti Lyveria. Il percorso non era facile ed era ricco di pericoli, ma i tre Umani contavano sul lascia passare di Kron The Undying. I pericoli maggiori erano rappresentanti dal Southern Gob Hub e dal Great Pit. Una volta attraversati questi punti la strada sarebbe stata più semplice.

" Sinder, hai idea di cosa ci aspetta? Hai la minima idea di dove dobbiamo passare? Ti ricordi il viaggio di andata? Forse lo hai dimenticato. Non potremmo mai metterci 8 ore, secondo me almeno 12 se tutto va bene!" disse Finnerick.

" Si Finn, lo so. Bisogna passare per i territori tetri. Bisogna passare per Souther Gob Hub e The Great Pit. Ma la scorsa volta avevamo un lascia passare del Vecchio Re WIlhelm e ci è andato tutto bene. Questa volta abbiamo il lascia passare di Kron, penso che non avremo alcun tipo di problema. Dobbiamo stare solo attenti a non cadere nel Great Pit, non preoccuparti per l'Hub." rispose Sinder.

" Come dici tu, Sinder! Sai che mi fido ciecamente..." concluse Finnerick.

" Signori, possiamo partire?" intervenne Supply Runner.

" Ecco... ci mancava lo gnomo ora! maledizione..." rispose Finnerick.

" Signore, sto offrendo i miei servigi in cambio di una ricompensa... è il mio lavoro..." rispose lo gnomo.

" Certo, certo... lavoro...." disse ancora Finnerick.

" Basta Finn, lascialo stare. Gnomo Supply, grazie per i tuoi servigi. So che la ricompensa è stata lauta, quindi rispetta gli accordi e partiamo!" concluse Sinder.

" Va bene Signori, si parte" esclamò Supply Runner.

Così i tre Umani insieme a Supply Runner lasciarono Gobson. Direzione Fiume Sacro, bisgonava attraversarlo per la prima volta. Non ci misero molto ad arrivare al Fiume, anche se il tragitto prevedeva molta fatica. La fame iniziò a farsi sentire.

" Ehi Sinder, che ne dici se mangiamo qualcosa prima di attraversare il fiume?" disse Finnerick.

" Mangiare? Si!" esclamò dal nulla Ginderuc. Era la seconda volta che faceva uscire dalla sua bocca dei suoni misteriosi chiamati parole.

" Ah beh, se lo dice Ginderuc allora bisgona mangiare. " rispose Sinder.

" Cosa abbiamo in questo carro?" chiese Finnerick.

" Finn, lascia stare il carro. Ricordi il pane che ci ha dato Kron? Il pane magico dei Centauri. Ne basta un pezzo e sei sazio. Abbiamo anche le bacche magiche di Spirit Of The forest." disse Sinder.

Kron aveva consegnato loro del Pane Magico che aveva la capacità di saziare con pochi bocconi mangiati. Spirit Of The forest invece aveva dato agli umani due tipologie di bacche: una per la stanchezza fisica e mentale, una per recuperare le forze se qualcuno si fosse fatto male.

Sinder cacciò pane e bacche dalla borsa e ne consegnò un pò a ciascuno di loro, compreso Supply Runner che aveva bisogno di più energie per portare il carretto.

I quattro mangiarono il pane e presero un paio di bacche a testa. All'improvviso si sentirono sazi e pieni di forze.

" Ora si che possiamo proseguire. Il Fiume Sacro non si attraversa da solo!" disse Sinder.
