pngegg_1_.png

Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

pngegg_1_.png

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

.

.

The Swamps of the Living Moss.

The Swamps of the Living Moss is one of the strangest territories that the Kingdom of Anumun can present to its inhabitants and visitors. An indefinite territory, as indefinite are its inhabitants. The Mosses that inhabit this territory do not have a definite form, but can easily and skilfully take any shape they wish, any shape that does not have to be regulated by the senses.

Generally, the magic powers of the Kingdom of Anumun are known to be the most powerful in the entire Splinterlands, but the magic powers of the inhabitants of the Swamps territories are much more powerful: among the most powerful in the Kingdom of Anumun.

The inhabitants of the territory might seem strange and inhospitable to visitors, but this is false. The Mosses are among the most hospitable creatures in Anumun. If a visitor enters their habitat then he or she will be welcomed with the best wishes, will be taken on a tour of the territories and will be offered hospitable gifts and services. Appearances are often deceiving, and here appearances are very deceiving.

Legend has it that the Swamps of The Living Moss was founded by a mythical creature: The Living Moss, to be precise. A creature of infinite powers that can defeat any being.

The inhabitants of the territory include Anphibians and Snorkelfish.

.

.

Swamp Thing

Resembling a Human body, but made of mud and moss. With some tree-like features. Swamp Thing is one of the creatures that inhabit the Swamps of The Living Moss. A being with very strong magical powers, but with a strange physical form. He is not defined as a being as such. He was once a Human: Claudius Greenforth. He lived in Lyveria, his hometown. During the Second Invasion, he took part in the military campaign called by the Kingdom of Humans to face the armies of Mortis alongside the ranks of the Kingdom of Anumun. Since then he has lived imprisoned in the lands of the Swamps Of The Living Moss. Since that time, he has worked constantly every day to regain his old physical form and be able to return to Lyveria. He cannot leave the lands of the Swamps until he is summoned by someone with the ability to do so.
.

.

MITICA VILLAGE

Mythical Village is one of the two remaining villages of the original 7 Villages that once stood within the Kingdom of Anumun. 7 Villages for 7 Tribes, each with its own characteristics and prerogatives. 7 Villages, 7 Tribes, 7 sacred orders. After the Splintering, and after the Second Age, only 2 Villages remained of the once 7 in the entire Kingdom of Anumun. One is Mitica Village, the other is Palavan Village: belonging to the Mitica Tribe and Palavan Tribe respectively. At one time, the 7 Villages formed the real life of the Kingdom of Anumun and the 7 tribes interacted with each other in times of both peace and war, both for trade and harvest. Then the tribes suddenly shrank drastically, only two survived the Splintering and the Great Invasions. Two tribes remained, the bravest, the toughest, the truest.

MITICA HEADHUNTER

Mythic fighter of the Mythic Tribe, one of the two remaining of the original 7 tribes that populated the Kingdom of Anumun. Like all his kind, he is short in stature and the circumference of his head is five times that of a human. Always committed to the defence of his territories, born 280 years ago, entering with his soul into the body of his ancestor, he remains to this day a symbol for his village and for the whole Kingdom of Anumun. The Mythic Tribe has this peculiarity, when a member of the tribe dies, the body does not decompose. The soul of a new entity enters that body, causing multiple personalities to succeed each other in the same body. The last great fight he took part in was against the neighbours of Palavan, a historical rival of the Mythic Tribe.
.

Terraceus Grunt, a hybrid of Earth and Rock, with a tree-like body and superhuman strength. Born at the behest of The Swamp Thing after the Second Invasion to guard and eventually confront hypothetical enemies on the borders of the Swamps of The Living Moss. He has the characteristics of the beasts of the Swamps, but to these are added powerful rocky features typical of Golems. His ability allows him to be very resistant to magical attacks. Usually he does not reveal himself to anyone, he has remained for more than two Ages locked in his hiding places. Now something, however, has moved. Something has awakened him!

From previous episodes

" You ... you ... you are ... no way!" said Sinder.

"I am Claudius Greenforth!" exclaimed Swamp Thing loudly.

"You said that the scriptures spoke of some visitors who would save you and take you with them to Lyveria,' said Sinder.

After a moment's pause he added: "Do you think we could be the visitors the scriptures spoke of?"

"His name within the scriptures was Dúnadan, which in our language means man of the west," replied Swamp Thing.

"Man of the west?" asked Sinder.

As he spoke those words, his hands began to glow with a pulsing light that radiated throughout the Spellbook.

Just then the prophecy seemed to have been fulfilled, the scriptures had spoken the truth.

A new beginning part.5

Sinder had just finished eating the berry given to him by Claudius, he seemed to have already recovered but was still a little worn out from fatigue.

"How are you doing Sinder?" asked Claudius.

"Almost well," replied Sinder.

" Can you manage to continue? It shouldn't be long to Palavan," said Claudius.

" Yes, just a moment I'll recover and I'll be there " replied Sinder.

Unfortunately, whenever Sinder was called upon to use his Summoner powers, he eventually fell exhausted to the ground without strength after using them. This was because he still hadn't fully mastered his abilities and the energy used to harness his powers was enormous, as he didn't have much experience yet, he struggled twice as much. Not all Summoners of the Splinterlands fall to the ground exhausted after using their powers, quite the contrary. Many of them are capable of battling for hours on end in the arenas, taking part in one fight after another without ever feeling the slightest bit tired.

But this was more than normal for experienced Summoners, and it was more than normal for a new Summoner like Sinder.

"When you're ready let's start walking again," said FInnerick.

"I'm ready friends, let's continue," said Sinder.

So the Human friends resumed their walk towards Palavan Village, one of the last stops on their journey back to Lyveria.

The road was always the same, always the same. Huge, very wide. With the same colours as when they had started walking from Lyveria Village. The surrounding vegetation was identical at every point, there was a lot of green and a few colours of flowers here and there along the way. Of people crossing that huge road, there were none. They had passed no one but the Terraceus Grunt. Better for them, surely, but they hadn't even had the chance to meet anyone along that road usually frequented by travellers and merchants.

"When do we arrive?" asked Finnerick.

" I think it won't be long now Finn," replied Claudius.

" Oh yeah... we've been walking for almost two days now!" said Sinder.

" I can't wait to lie down on a comfortable bed and sleep for 16 hours straight" said Finnerick.

" Finn, I guess you'll have to wait until you get home to Lyveria for that!" said Sinder jokingly.

The friends laughed, but all in all Sinder was right. Who knew what would happen to him in Palavan VIllage? Although, it must be said, Palavan is a friendly village and there should have been no problems. But never say never, our friends have been through many adventures and have had more than one bad moment.

After a few more steps, finally, in the distance, something could be seen on the horizon.

"I see something!" said Finnerick.

" Yes, I see it too Finn.... " replied Sinder.

" They look... they look like... constructions!" said Finnerick.

" Eh yeah, Finn," said Cladius taking a moment's pause.

" That's Palavan Village!" he added shortly after, looking at all his other Human friends.

The Swamps of the Living Moss

Spesso l'apparenza inganna, e qui l'apparenza inganna parecchio.

Da allora vive imprigionato nelle terre dello Swamps Of The Living Moss.

" Uomo dell'ovest?" chiese Sinder.

" Come va Sinder?" chiese Claudius.

" Quasi bene" rispose Sinder.

Dopo qualche altro passo, finalmente, in lontananza, all'orizzonte, si scorgeva qualcosa.

" Vedo qualcosa!" disse Finnerick.

" Si, la vedo anche io Finn... " rispose Sinder.
