This week's theme is "Lost Legendaries" and here is my entry for this week's theme. I hope you learn something and enjoy it.

Lost Legendaries is a straight-to-business ruleset and as the name suggests this ruleset does not allow you to use legendary monsters on the field. Despite following the ruleset, I would like to share one of my matches where the monsters used, though not legendary, are known to be better cards than some legendary cards in Splinterlands.

In this match, I used the Dragon summoner that can summon a Gladiator card, Helios Matriarch, and selected Earth Splinter to build up and deploy my monster on the field. By doing this I have the leverage to summon arguably the best and the strongest Epic card in the game - QUORA TOWERSHEAD.

At the beginning of the match, I believe I have the upper hand based on the monsters I chose for my team. Since the mana allowed was 99 mana, I could deploy powerful monsters with heavy-hitting abilities and some excellent support units in the game. When I saw the other team I have no worries that my team can win it easily without a sweat.

In the first round of the match, I quickly overpowered the opposing team's front line and looked great to be on the way to obliterating the remaining monsters on the field. From the looks of it, the match will be short and conclusive.

The second round isn't any different I did easily dismantle the monster that comes after his frontline.

The opposing team used Quora as well, but I believe she didn't have enough support. They relied too heavily on the Martyr ability cards placed next to Quora. Despite the opposing team's Quora receiving a stat boost when both Martyr card dies and took down my frontline, she couldn't withstand the barrage of attacks coming her way since I am on the offensive next.

The match only lasted three rounds and it was evident and conclusive that I easily won the match.

I have to confess that selecting cards for this lineup doesn't require much thinking. The key is to choose the ones that can inflict significant damage, particularly when playing with the 99 mana ruleset, but still you have to consider the position of your cards, for instance if my opponent set a better lineup I am still confident that my lineup could triumph or at least give the opponents team a good fight.

I think that although legendary cards are highly regarded, we can say that some non-legendary cards were better suited for the job. In the end, my chosen cards led me to victory, and added another win to my collection.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post and I look forward to sharing more in the future. See you!
