What's up everyone? It has been a long time since I have posted something on HIVE, shit happens and I need to focus IRL, I have been in a lot of bad situations since I've been gone but I am still grateful that I am still here and can send greetings to you guys, after all this time.

But we are not here to discuss why I was gone for a long while, I am here to talk about a project that I have been supporting and eyeing even though I was gone, I still had my eyes on this project and check the progress from time to time, and to be honest I was pretty amazed how this project grew since it has started and it all thanks to the founder @itzninjafool and the community behind it.

Yes, for those who are already familiar, I am talking about @SBT or Splinterlands Battle Token whichever you prefer, and for those who aren't, you need not worry, I will gonna try my best to share my knowledge about this project with you.

Early Days

At first, the project was introduced to be a simple tipping token that you can give to your Splinterlands opponents who you had fun playing with or if you thought the match was great or if you have learned something new from the match, it caused a significant movement on Splinterlands community especially those who are in Twitch, with the #nosleepgang community.

The token was distributed for free in its early days and was used by Battlers to tip their opponents which I would say was a success since it has been used by the community who supported it. The project finds its way to have enough support in making Splinterlands tournament and have SBT as the main prize.

The community gradually grows and a lot of people are happily using it for tipping and giving it away on streams and has been successfully used as how it should be.

Rising of SBT

The first quarter of 2022 came and the community grew significantly that the token outgrew its use case basically, but thanks to the brilliant minds behind the project and the support it is getting that it found and developed a new use case for the token and made it a legit layer-two token in HIVE, and the team behind the project released a roadmap for the token.

You can see all the new use cases of the token, and how it would reward the holders by holding it for the long term, and to be honest they didn't disappoint the community and delivered following the released Roadmap.

They held raffles, auctions, and giveaways to both token holders & non-holders, and they made necessary connections, and let the project grow with the help of the community and the main protagonist of the project.

Latest Development

Their latest development is a huge improvement, they are now giving away Splinterlands assets in form of DEC, SPS, and Vouchers to reward 100,000 and more stakeholders! Yes, you can get those tokens by simply staking SBT in HIVE, they bumped the rewards for stakeholders and held amazing giveaways with very generous rewards on their discord server, you can click this link for more information about the new developments and improvements rewarding stakeholders.

Regarding the daily rewards, it starts at one hundred thousand SBT staked and will increase for every 100,000 staked SBT.

To have better chances for everyone in the giveaways, the giveaways are classified by tier and your tier will depend on your staked SBT, which I believe is reasonable currently, although at one million staked SBT you gonna get to join all the giveaways from other tiers!

So, if someone asks me if it is worth it? Of course, it is worth it to get involved in this project and have the community support it deserves. Although, it's always your discretion if you want to give this project a chance and do your thorough research.

But as for me, I am sold on this project and I am looking forward to more success and developments, with a very hard-working founder and community this project is surely here in HIVE to stay in the long term!
