Analyzing a battle in Healed Out ruleset from Bronze League.

Hi, today I'm about to write a post featuring a battle in Healed Out ruleset from analyzing a top battle from bronze league in modern format.

The battle that I'm about to analyze was between Stockpiles and Sniper-VC1 where Sniper-VC1 won the battle.

A little info about the battle:

With Yodin Zaku as summoner, Stockpiles used six monsters which are: Ferox Defender, Xenith Archer, Lava Spider, Blood Maker, Ferexia General, Scavo Firebolt.

And with the same Yodin Zaku as summoner, Sniper-VC1 also used six monsters which are: Task the Wide, Ash Mirage, Lava Spider, Scavo Firebolt, Spark Pixies, Serpentine Spy.

Battlefield Review - Battle Link

Healed Out: All healing abilities are removed from monsters and summoners.

Healed Out ruleset remove healing abilities from all monsters and summoners so it's hard to find anyone choosing monsters with healing abilities in a battle with healed out ruleset. So this is a battle where there's not monsters or summoners that has or offers heal ability.

All monsters in the battle got +1 ranged, +1 health and blast ability from their summoners buff as both of them chose the same summoners. Then Ash Mirage of Sniper-VC1 removed one ranged attacks from all opponent ranged monsters using headwinds ability. And Ferox Defender defended all monsters in own team offering two armors to each of them using protect ability.

The Battle

Both team chose the same Yodin Zaku summoner that increased health of all monsters and 1 ranged attacks to all ranged attackers and also provides blast ability to all monsters. There's no monsters in the battle who can do healing so the healed out ruleset didn't effect anyone. But ranged attackers of Stockpiles lost the extra ranged attack because of the headwinds ability of Ash Mirage of the opponent team. Ferox Defender of Stockpiles added two armor to all monsters of its team.

Spark Pixies of Sniper-VC1 attacked first for having the greater speed and that attack landed on Ferox Defender of Stockpiles where Ferox Defender lost three armor and the adjacent monster of Ferox Defender lost two armor as well.

Then Ash Mirage of Sniper-VC1 attacked where Ferox Defender lost three more armor and the adjacent monster (Xenith Archer) lost two health this time as it didn't have any armor anymore. Then Blood Maker from Stockpiles took its turn and attacked the last monster (Serpentine Spy) of Sniper-VC1 where the targeted monster lost two health and the adjacent monster lost one health. Then Serpentine Spy of Sniper-VC1 targeted Xenith Archer of Stockpiles with the lowest health for having opportunity ability where Xenith Archer died and and its two adjacent monsters lost one armor each.

Then from Stockpiles, Ferexia General attacked Ash Mirage and then Scavo Firebolt attacked Task the Wide where both targets lost two health each and the adjacent monsters lost one health each. From Sniper-VC1, Scavo Firebolt attacked Ferox Defender and Lava Spider attacked the opponent Lava Spider where both targets lost three and two health and the adjacent monsters lost some health and armor as well.

Lava Spiders from both team who are actually snipers for having snipe ability and they targeted the second ranged attackers of the opponent team for having snipe ability.

image.png

There was no kill throughout the whole first round but Sniper-VC1 got two kills at once in the second round when Ash Mirage attacked Ferox Defender and Stockpiles lost both the targeted monster (Ferox Defender) and the adjacent monster (Lava Spider) as well. After Ferox Defender died, three monsters of Stockpiles lost the extra armor that they got from protect ability of Ferox Defender.

Soon Stockpiles lost another monster (Blood Maker) as well and Stockpiles now got only one attacker left when Sniper-VC1 still got the whole team of attackers. Then Scavo Firebolt of Stockpiles attacked that landed on Task the Wide but Sniper-VC1 lost Ash Mirage or blast ability. It it weren't for blast ability then Sniper-VC1 would not lose a single monster. And after Ash Mirage died, the remaining monsters of Stockpiles got their lost ranged attack back.

Then monsters of Sniper-VC1 did more damage to the remaining monsters of Stockpiles that I already knew that Stockpiles is gonna lost in the next round. The very first attack of Spark Pixies in the next round killed both opponent monsters.

So, yeah Spark Pixies of Sniper-VC1 did the last attack and went for victory and the strategy went great.

I'll analyze another battle later.
