Its time for all monsters to born again.

Hi, today I'm about to write a post featuring a battle in Born Again ruleset along with one more from analyzing a top battle from diamond league.

The battle that I'm about to analyze was between Abaraxtras and Vinhald where Abaraxtras won the battle.

With Mylor Crowling as summoner, Abaraxtras used six monsters which are: Failed Summoner, Fungus Fiend, Halfling Alchemist, Acid Shooter, Iza the Fanged, Xenith Archer.

And with Helios Matriarch as summoner, Vinhald used five monsters which are: Fungus Fiend, Kra'ar Xoc, Epona, Katrelba Gobson, Mycelic Morphoid.

Lost Magic	Born Again
Monsters with magic attack may not be used in battles	All monsters have the rebirth ability

So only melee and ranged attackers were allowed in this battle as the lost magic ruleset banished magic attackers and all monsters gets rebirth ability from the born again ruleset and when monsters with rebirth dies, it does self-resurrect with 1 health once per battle which means, it gets to born again.

Summoner of Abaraxtras provided thorns ability to all friendly monsters and monsters with thorns ability does 2 melee damage back to the attacker after getting hit by melee attacker. And summoner of Vinhald provided one extra speed to all friendly monsters and allowed the use of one additional gladiator card.

Then Epona of Vinhald increased the health of all friendly monsters by 1.

The Battle

Getting Thorns ability from the summoner, Abaraxtras was in a good form as the opponent team chose only melee attackers so every melee attack will attract return damage.

Iza the Fanged of Abaraxtras attacked first for having the greater speed and that attack damaged two health of Mycelic Morphoid of the other team. Then Katrelba Gobson of Vinhald attacked and damaged whole three health and killed Xenith Archer of the other team and the attacker herself lost two health for the thorns ability of Xenith Archer and the attacker got +1 to all stats for its bloodlast ability.

Iza the Fanged from one team and Kra'ar Xoc from another gained +1 health each for this kill for having scavenger ability. And then Xenith Archer was resurrected with one health for the born again ruleset. Now the cool thing happened when the same attacker Katrelba Gobson attacked the archer again using its double strike ability and killed the archer again and for good this time.

Katrelba Gobson lost two health to thorns again and got +1 to all stats again for the kill, Iza the Fanged and Kra'ar Xoc gained +1 health each again for scavenger.

Then Acid Shooter killed Infantry Morphoid, both scavenger scavenged +1 health each and then it was time for Infantry Morphoid to born again. Then Halfling Alchemist damaged one health of Fungus Fiend and tried to cut the attack in half but the fiend had only one attack so it didn't happen. Then Fungus Fiend damaged one health of Failed Summoner and in return, lost all two of its health, died, and then reborn again and in the meantime, the scavengers did scavenging again.

It was a new round and Katrelba Gobson now had five melee damage which it used on Iza and got return of two damage. The second attack of the gobson killed Iza and the return damage killed gobson herself and both of the died for the time being. Kra'ar Xoc alone now gained +2 health and then Iza came back and gained +1 health and then gobson came back as well.

Halfling Alchemist killed Fungus Fiend again and this time there was no coming back for the fiend as it works only once in a battle. The scavengers did scavenging again and then gobson finally killed the Iza for good and Gobson was also finally killed for good for the thorns and Kra'ar Xoc alone gained +2 health.

Now Vinhald had only one melee attacker and that too at the third position and the other two monsters at the first and second position don't have attack stat so monsters of Abaraxtras only kept attacking when Acid Shooter in the meantime killed the only attacker of the other team using its scattershot ability.

Then Epona died, came back, died again and Kra'ar Xoc kept evading melee attacks till level 16 when it finally died but it came back and died again in the next round.

Acid Shooter of Abaraxtras did the last attack and went for victory and the strategy of both team went great.
