Noxious Fumes is a notorious ruleset but it has some medicines as well.

Hi, today I'm about to write a post featuring a battle in Noxious Fumes ruleset along with some more from analyzing a top battle from diamond league in modern tournament.

The battle that I'm about to analyze was between Rdbigdog and Beffeater where Rdbigdog won the battle.

A little info about the battle:

With Lux Vega as summoner, Rdbigdog used six monsters which are: Pelacor Conjurer, Djinn Renova, Adelade Brightwing, Herbalist, Venari Crystalsmith, Thunderbird.

And with the same Lux Vega as summoner, Beffeater also used six monsters which are: Cursed Windeku, Shadow Snitch, Riftwing, Revealer, Venari Bonesmith, Silent Sha Vi.

Neutral monsters were not allowed in this battle for taking sides ruleset, but both team chose a neutral summoner for the battle that means summoners are still allowed in this ruleset as the ruleset talked about monsters only. Noxious Fumes ruleset poisoned all monsters at the start of the battle using poison ability which will do automatic damage to all the monsters at the beginning of each round.

And Holy Protection ruleset gave out Divine Shield ability to all monsters which helped all monsters to ignore the first damage. Summoners from both team provided one extra speed, one extra armor and one extra health to all monsters.

Then Cursed Windeku of Beffeater slowed down all monsters of Rdbigdog by increasing a speed for each, Riftwing reduced ranged attacks of two ranged monsters by one. Then Djinn Renova increased the health of all monsters of Rdbigdog by one, Adelade Brightwing increased the speed by one.

Revealer of Beffeater and Adelade Brightwing of Rdbigdog wasn't affected to the noxious fumes ruleset for having their own immunity ability and Herbalist of Rdbigdog removed the negative poison affect from Pelacor Conjurer of own team.

The Battle

Silent Sha Vi of Beffeater attacked first for having the greater speed and that attack Thunderbird evaded the attack using its flying ability. Then Venari Bonesmith attacked Pelacor Conjurer but couldn't damage anything for divine shield ability but used its dispel ability and removed all positive effects of its target where Pelacor Conjurer lost the extra health it got from Djinn Renova and also lost the cleanse, extra speed and was poisoned from now on.

Then two attacks happened that were ignored for divine shield until Venari Crystalsmith damaged the armor of Cursed Windeku and Shadow Snitch did the same and added affliction on Pelacor Conjurer although it was a waste as it works on monsters with healing ability. Then Cursed Windeku got some more damage and Pelacor Conjurer in the meantime got the extra speed and cleansing back for cleanse of Herbalist, got the armor back for repair of Adelade Brightwing.

All monsters lost two health each except those who had immunity and cleansing affect and they are Revealer, Pelacor Conjurer, Adelade Brightwing. I thought the poison damages would hit the armor first but no, it damaged the health directly. There were two attacks on Pelacor Conjurer and Thunderbird and both of them evaded those attacks using their flying ability. And I forgot to say that Pelacor Conjurer was doing some magic reflect damage as well.

Cursed Windeku died suddenly and the monsters of Rdbigdog got back their lost speed. Riftwing scavenged one health out of that death. Adelade Brightwing and Herbalist healed themself up using their triage ability and missed their attack on Shadow Snitch as the targeted monster evaded those attacks using its dodge ability.

Shadow Snitch couldn't stay alive for long doing the dodging and died suddenly and Riftwing got one extra health again. Adelade Brightwing this time healed Venari Crystalsmith and Herbalist healed Thunderbird when Revealer damaged health of Pelacor Conjurer and got return damage for magic reflect.

Then Beffeater lost one monster for the noxious fumes but Rdbigdog still had all monsters alive. Silent Sha Vi then attacked and damaged both armor and health of Thunderbird using its piercing ability and the bird died but Adelade Brightwing resurrected it with one health and one armor and also healed it with two extra health and Adelade herself got healed by Herbalist.

Then Riftwing died after Adelade and Herbalist took charge and Riftwing couldn't scavenge any health for its soul out its own demises. Then Beffeater lost another monster to then poison and the other team lost one to the poison as well. And then monsters of Rdbigdog started targeting the last opponent monster until they killed that monster and went for vicotry.

So, yeah Adelade Brightwing of Rdbigdog did the last attack and went for victory and the strategy of both team went great.
