Hello!

Tyrus Paladium, the banisher of evil, bringer of life; third on my list to animate into pixel art:

In my first two posts, which contain both Zintar Mortalis and Alric Stormbringer, I neglected to introduce myself or my work. But here I will do my best to let you know why and how I have started creating pixel art, for splinterlands cards.

The Why

I have always wanted to try my hand at pixel art and animation! Splintertalk gives me a great opportunity to do that for a game that I am invested in, and love the artwork for. I hope everyone here can watch me grow into a great pixel artist/animator and I would love to see some of my creations used in other's posts! Of course, it also gives me a great way of making some SPT that I can invest back into splinterlands to get those cards I so desperately need to get through silver and into gold!

The How

As of now, I have only been using my phone to make the art and animation using the app, pixel studio. With each creation I generally look at the card for inspiration:

Then start with the head:

Then slowly mold the body:

Then finally I play around, sometimes for far too long, making the animation:

So far I have only attempted simple animations, but I try to make them fit with the art! In the future I am going to attempt more and more complex animation, hopefully improving the quality of my work.
