My fascination with HAUNTED SPIDER

There are cards you love. There are cards you hate. Then, there are cards that you love to hate.

But I love the Haunted Spider.

The motivation for this card came from the new format of Splinterlands.

The new format adds benefit if you have Gold, Alpha, Beta & Promo Cards.

I certainly cannot afford Alpha Cards. But to get a, Gold Beta or Gold Promo, adds the current benefits, while gaining some ownership of cards from the older series.

The Haunted Spider tends to die early in battle. Her health is not great.

But I love the POISON ability.

I just need HAUNTED SPIDER to drop some POISON to make her selection justified.

I always enjoy slipping her in during an Equalizer battle, where all Monster's initial health is equal to the healthiest creature that is battling.

The LORE, as always, adds the flavour that @gvasil, so adores.

The 2nd form of a Dark Eternal? Interesting, they take insect form.

Can anyone suggest the 1st form of Dark Eternal?
