Should SPS even be a Reward in Bronze? Isn't Glint more useful?

Glint In My Eye.jpg

We breach the water's surface and prepare to battle.
A newborn in the Land of Praetoria!

Vonak!

We enter via Bronze III; The League for beginning our Journey.

What do we need? Cards.

Is that dandruff?

No, it is SPS.

But I require Glint to Soulbound strengthen my deck!

Maybe SPS is more of a Silver League and above sort of fancy desire.
But my new account wants Glint.

If there's zero SPS to be win in Bronze, will that also encourage stacked decks to move upwards faster?
This would turn Bronze III into an Academy for new cadets.
Newbies who are tasked with understanding the Gameplay, Glint and what combos to use.
Let the new Players battle it out with wooden swords & cardboard shields.

These fledgling accounts can accumulate a bit more Glint.

And for gaining SPS? 99% will be earned by participating in Guild Brawls! That's where a beginner really reaps some decent staked SPS reward.

A salty veteran will make haste to leave this area for greater heights.

I agree that Glints are more useful for beginners rather than SPS in building their deck. Yet, I feel that SPS rewards, albeit small, is necessary to introduce them to the 'tokenomics' side of Splinterlands.

This will make them think:
'Oh what is this speck of dust I am getting every win?'
'Wow! I can use these increase my Glints?'
'I can swap these with DEC and buy some tradeable cards? Amazing!' and
'How can I get more of this?'
along these lines.
