Splinterlands Battle Share with CAPTAIN GOST
Welcome to my post, Today I am sharing my battle with the water element magic monster CAPTAIN GOST with affliction ability.
The Captain of a great pirate ship perished in a battle against Old Frank, one of the most ruthless Sea Monsters of the Splinterlands as his ship was dragged under. While he died, the burning desire for the treasure the Captain was seeking ripped his soul from his body. The Captain simply could not cope with the fact that he would never behold the treasure, so he defied reality and life itself. As his lifeless body sank with the ship, the Ghost of the Captain sprang for the surface and began to wander the Splinterlands, lost and seeking a hopeless treasure that he would never find. After nearly a hundred years of wandering, the Captain has finally chosen to appear in battle at Mount Mox. BATTLE RULE AND MANA
Standard : No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics. It is the best battle rule, you can use any element splinter and cards in the battle.
26 Mana - This battle mana was 26. Mana cap in this battle was average so after selecting my summoner only 23 Mana points were left for the monsters. In 23 Mana cap I was able to take 6 monster to fight in this battle.
I chose ALRIC STORMBRINGER as my summoner and after selecting my summoner 21 Mana points were left for the monster so I was able to chose 5 monsters .
- 1st Place - Hardy Stonefish with 1 melee attack.
- 2nd Place - Djinn Oshannus with 2 magic attacks and void ability.
- 3rd Place - Captain Ghost with 2 magic attacks and affliction ability.
- 4th Place - Ice Pixie with 1 magic attack and flying ability.
- 5th Place - Merdaali Guardian with tank heal ability.
- 6th Place - Xenith Archer with 1 range attack.
Alric Stormbringer is a water element summoner. It costs 3 Mana points to take it into the battle. Its ability gives plus one magic attack to all the friendly magic monsters. We can use only water monsters with the water summoner. Its magic ability is amazing and works like a charm in every match.
1 - HARDY STONEFISH
Hardy Stonefish is a water element monster with 1 melee attack and without any ability. It costs only 1 Mana points to take it into the battle. I placed it in the 1st place in this battle and reason of placing it in the 1st place is to protect Djinn Oshannus and waste attack of opponents monsters. It is a good card in 1 mana because of its 1 shield.
2 - DJINN OSHANNUS
Djinn Oshannus is a legendary water element monster with 2 magic attacks and void ability. It cost 8 mana points to take it into the battle. It is a good card for the first and second place because with the help of magic attack it can attack from the any place on the first monster of the opponent. Monsters with void ability gets reduced damage from the magic monsters of enemy and no damage from single magic attack monster of enemy. I have used this card on the 2nd place in this battle and in the 8 Mana its void ability and 10 Health with 5 speed makes it perfect.
3 - CAPTAIN GHOST
Captain Ghost is a water element monster with 2 magic attacks and affliction ability. I costs only 7 mana points to put into the battle. I have used this card on the 3rd place. Reason behind using this card in the 3rd place is to get best from it because it is a magic monster and it can attack from any place on the first monster of enemy. Monsters with affliction ability when hits a enemy monster, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
4 - ICE PIXIE
Ice Pixie is a water element magic monster with 1 magic attack and flying ability. It costs only 2 Mana points to take it into the battle. I have placed this card in the 4th place because of its low health points and to get more chance to attack on the opponent's monsters health with its magic.
5 - MERDAALI GUARDIAN
Merdaali Guardian is a water element monster without any attack but with tank heal ability. It costs 3 Mana points to take it into the battle. I placed it in the 5th place in this battle because it doesn't get any attack, It can only heal the monster of its friendly team who is in the first place only if its health got decreased and it worked very well in this battle.
6 - XENITH ARCHER
Xenith Archer is a neutral element monster with 1 range attack and without any ability. It costs only 2 Mana points to take it into the battle. I placed it in the last place in this battle because it is a range card and range cards cannot attack from the first place. It is a good card in 2 Mana with 2 health points.
In the first round my summoner gives plus 1 magic attack to all the friendly magic monsters and opponents summoner gives plus 1 melee attack to its melee monster.
This battle lasted for 5 rounds in which my 2 monsters survived till the end of the battle.
I won this battle and got +20 rating in the reward.
The Battle Mana cap was 26 points. I have selected Alric Stormbringer as the summoner because of its plus one magic attack ability so after selecting summoner 23 Mana points were left. In 21 Mana points I have selected Hardy Stonefish a melee monster which costs 1 mana points without any ability and placed it in the 1st place, Djinn Oshannus which costs 8 Mana points and placed it in the second place with void ability, Ice Pixie which costs only 2 mana points with magic attack and flying ability for the 4th place, Captain Ghost which costs 7 mana points with magic attack and affliction ability for the 3th place and after selecting my all monsters only 3 mana point was so I have selected Merdaali Guardian with tank heal ability for the 5th place.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked perfectly in the battle and I won this battle. If I will get same rule and mana battle next time I will play with same deck.

I like CAPTAIN GHOST because in only 7 Mana points it gets 2 magic attacks with affliction ability and amazing speed of 5 points.
