Hello everyone!!

Welcome to my post, Today I am sharing my battle with the earth element magic monster MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN with tank heal ability.

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN

Mycelic Slipspawn was first found on the edges of the swamps of Praetoria, in areas where the fetid waters meet with the forests and jungles. It is highly toxic and grows to a substantial size. Death is uncommon for those who touch its fibrous body however, the side effects of its toxins can cause a long list of illnesses and disease, leaving its victims severely debilitated.......lore

Battle Rule

Standard : No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics. It is the best battle rule, you can use any element splinter and cards in the battle.

Mana

29 Mana - This battle mana was 29. Mana cap in this battle was good so after selecting my summoner 25 Mana points were left for the monsters. In 25 Mana cap I was able to take only 5 monster easily to fight in this battle.

MY LINEUP

I chose OBSIDIAN as my summoner and after selecting my summoner 25 Mana points were left for the monster so I was able to chose 5 monsters .

  • 1st Place - Mycelic Slipspawn with 2 magic attack and taunt ability.
  • 2nd Place - Regal Peryton with 1 magic attack and flying ability.
  • 3rd Place - Goblin Psychic with 2 magic attacks and tank heal ability.
  • 4th Place - Khmer Princess with 1 magic attack.
  • 5th Place - Child of the Forest with 1 range attack and snipe ability.

SUMMONER

OBSIDIAN

Obsidian is a earth element summoner. It costs 4 Mana points to take it into the battle. Its ability gives plus one magic attack to all the friendly magic monsters. We can use only earth monsters with the obsidian summoner. Its magic ability is amazing.

MONSTERS

1 - MYCELIC MORPHID

Mycelic Slipspawn is a earth element monster with 2 magic attack and taunt ability. It costs only 9 mana points to take it into the battle. It is a good card for any place because with the help of magic attack it can attack from any place on the first monster of the opponent. All enemy monsters targets taunt enemy monsters. I have used Mycelic Slipspawn on the first place in this battle.

2 - REGAL PERYTON

Regal Peryton is a earth element magic monster with 1 magic attack and flying ability. Monsters with flying ability has an increased chance of evading attacks from opponent's non flying melee and ranged attack monsters. It can be taken in the battle by using 5 mana. In 5 mana point it gets 5 speed points which is very good point. It is a rare monster. I have placed it in the second place to evade attacks from the opponent's monsters.

3 - GOBLIN PSYCHIC

Goblin Psychic is a earth element monster with 2 magic attacks and tank heal ability. It cost 6 mana points to take it into the battle. It is a good card for the last or second last place because a magic monster can attack from any place and with the help of tank heal ability it can also get more chance to heal the first monster of the team. I have used this card on the third place in this battle and in the 6 Mana its tank heal ability and 2 magic attack is a good point but its health is very low.

4 - KHMER PRINCESS

Khmer Princess is a earth element magic monster without any ability. It costs only 2 Mana points to take it into the battle. I have placed this card in the 4th place because of its low health.

5 - CHILD OF THE FOREST

Child of the Forest is a earth element range monster with 1 range attack and snipe ability. Monsters with snipe ability targets enemy monsters with ranged, magic or no attack that are not inn first place. It costs only 3 Mana points to take it into the battle. I placed it in the last place in this battle because it is a range card and range cards cannot attack from the first place.

ROUND 1

In the first round my summoner gives plus 1 magic attack to all the friendly monsters and opponent's summoner gives 1 range attack to range attack monsters. In this round monsters of the both the teams only taken damage and were not able to finish any monster inn this round. Score after this round was 6 vs 5 monsters

ROUND 2

In the second round monsters from both the teams performs very well. Monsters of opponent's team finished 2 monsters of my team in this round. My team monsters finished 3 monsters of opponent's team in this round. Score after this round was 3 vs 3 monsters.

In the third round my team monsters finished one monster of opponent's team without losing any monster of my team. Score after this round was 2 vs 3 monsters.

ROUND 4

In fourth round only 2 monster of opponent's team were left and 3 monsters of my team were left. In this round no monster of any of the team was finished. Score after this round was 2 vs 3 monsters.

ROUND 5

In fifth round only 2 monster of opponent's team was left and 3 monsters of my team were left. Opponent's monster cannot able to finish my monsters. My monsters finished enemy's one monster in this round. Score after this round was 1 vs 3 monsters.

ROUND 6

In sixth round only 1 monster of opponent's team was left and 3 monsters of my team were left. Opponent's monster cannot able to finish my monsters. My monsters finished enemy's monster in this round. Score after this round was 0 vs 3 monsters.

This battle lasted for six rounds in which my 3 monster survived till the end of the battle.

I won this battle with streak and got +40 rating in the reward.

MY STRATEGY

The Battle Mana cap was 29 points. I have selected Obsidian as the summoner because of its plus one magic attack ability so after selecting summoner only 25 Mana points were left. In 25 Mana points I have selected Mycelic Slipspawn a magic monster which costs 9 mana points with taunt ability and placed it in the first place, Regal Peryton a magic monster which costs 5 mana points with flying ability and placed it in the second place, Goblin Psychic which costs 6 Mana points with tank heal ability and placed it in the third place, Khmer Princess a magic monster which costs 2 mana points without any ability and placed it in the fourth place and selected Child of the Forest a range monster which costs 3 mana points with snipe ability and placed it in the last place. I have placed Regal Peryton on the second place to evade attacks from the non flying melee and ranged attack monsters of enemy's team and Goblin Psychic on the third place to heal regal peryton's health but opponent's monster finished Goblin Psychic in the first round. Goblin Psychic was not able to do anything in this battle because it was finished by enemy's monster before it get chance to attack. I have placed Mycelic Slipspawn in the first place because I am using a tank heal ability monster to restore its health and it worked so I was able to won this battle otherwise enemy's monsters killed my Mycelic Slipspawn in the very first round.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked perfectly in the battle and I won this battle. If I will get same rule and mana battle next time I will try it with Thaddius Brood which is a death summoner.

I like MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN because in 9 Mana points it gets 2 magic attacks with taunt ability.
